Max Keiser engagement report
@maxkeiser - 676K followers on X
Measured over 26 original posts from a 30-day window, last computed on August 25, 2026.
Engagement
A typical post picks up 138 interactions against 676K followers, an engagement rate of 0.021%. Measured over 26 original posts, its engagement rate beats 44% of 3,739 tracked accounts of a similar size, which puts it in the middle of its size range rather than at either end. Posts are seen about 36K times each, and 0.387% of those impressions turn into an interaction. That is about 5.30% of the follower count, which is the gap between an audience on paper and an audience in a timeline. Posting runs at about 2.9 posts a day over the last 30 days, though only 27% of days saw any activity at all. Most posts go out around 11:00 UTC, and Tuesday is the busiest day of the week. Of the 26 posts sampled, 88% carry an image or video and 27% link out. The account's strongest tracked post pulled 2.0K interactions, about 15x its own typical post. Recurring topics include #interestrate, #internacionales, #tippingpoint.

Compared with accounts its own size
Max Keiser's engagement rate beats 44% of the tracked X accounts closest to it in follower count (3,739 accounts, accounts of similar size (decile 8 of 10)). A percentile is spread evenly by construction, so 50 really is the middle of that group and 90 really is its top tenth.
On engagement per impression rather than per follower it beats 29% of the same group. When those two numbers disagree, the gap is about how far its posts travel rather than how people react to them.
Where this sits in the catalog
At 0.021%, Max Keiser sits above the 25th percentile of the 36,378 accounts in this comparison. That places it in the below the median band, which runs 0.012% to 0.08%.

This account posts most often around 11:00 UTC, and Tuesday is its busiest day of the week. The bars below are the catalog-wide pattern, with this account's own busiest slot marked. They do not show how this account performs at each hour: we keep one aggregate per account, not one per hour, so that measurement does not exist in our data.

🦔AI companies have borrowed so much money this year that they're pushing up interest rates for the entire economy. Nomura estimates tech borrowing alone now equals 25% of what the US Treasury issues in bonds, five times more than last year. Bank of America says the surge has added about 0.3 percentage points to the 10-year yield. Bond managers are selling Treasuries to buy AI corporate debt instead because it pays more. My Take AI companies are now competing with the US government for the same pool of lenders, and the lenders are picking the corporate bonds. Alphabet's 30-year pays 6.4%. A Meta data center bond pays over 7.5%. At those rates, a 5.2% Treasury loses the fight for capital every time. That's one of the reasons long-term rates have stayed so stubborn even as the Fed tries to bring them down. JPMorgan expects $5.5 trillion in AI infrastructure spending through 2030, and most of it will be borrowed. That borrowing raises the cost of money for everyone, the government, your mortgage, small businesses trying to get a loan. The AI buildout has reached the scale where it moves rates for the whole economy, and most people paying higher borrowing costs have no idea that a data center arms race is one of the reasons why. 🚨 BOND MARKET CRISIS IS HITTING THE ENTIRE WORLD The Bloomberg Global Long Bond Index yield has surged to around 4.2%, its highest level since July 2008. Long term government borrowing costs are now back at levels last seen during the global financial crisis. With governments carrying far more debt today, higher yields are making refinancing increasingly expensive. This is becoming a major pressure point for global financial markets.

⚠️Japan's bond market, the world's 3rd largest, is BREAKING: The 10-year JGB yield rose as much as +6 basis points to 2.93% on Monday, the highest level since 1996. At the same time, the 30-year yield climbed +7 basis points to 4.08%, nearing its record high from May, while the 20-year yield jumped +7 basis points to 3.815%. This comes as a weakening Yen and rising oil prices are fueling inflation expectations, with markets now pricing an ~80% chance of a Bank of Japan (BOJ) rate hike in September. Meanwhile, 3% for the 10-year JGB is a critical level for Japanese fiscal credibility, since it is the interest rate assumed in the government's own budget, meaning a breach would signal a rate rise the government itself did not anticipate. Complicating the BOJ's decision, Japan's Q2 GDP grew just +1.1% annualized, well below the +2% expected by economists, as private consumption and CapEx both declined. Fiscal concerns are adding further pressure, with the government yet to clarify how it will fund a planned 2-year cut to the sales tax on food. Japan's bond market is starting to price in the cost of fiscal excess.

"Dos datos importantes. El primero es que vamos a pasar a una inversión de $3,000 millones al año, que es tres veces más de lo que se ha invertido en gobiernos anteriores, el equivalente a más del 8 % del PIB. No habrá otro país en Latinoamérica que invierta un presupuesto más alto en la educación que El Salvador", resalta el Presidente @nayibbukele.

- What is Max Keiser's engagement rate on X?
- Max Keiser (@maxkeiser) has an engagement rate of 0.021%, based on the median interactions across 26 original posts from the last 30 days against 675,639 followers. Replies, reposts and quote-posts of other people are excluded from that sample.
- Is that a good engagement rate?
- At 0.021%, Max Keiser sits above the 25th percentile of the 36,378 accounts in this comparison. Those comparison accounts are all large ones, because our scanning cadence is weighted towards big accounts, so this is a ranking among peers of similar scale rather than a ranking across X.
- Does @maxkeiser have real engagement?
- Its engagement rate beats 44% of the tracked X accounts closest to it in follower count (3,739 accounts), which puts it in the middle of its size range group. Ranking inside a size band matters because engagement rate falls as accounts grow, so a raw rate would mostly re-measure the follower count. It is a starting point for a look at follower quality, not a verdict on it.
- When does @maxkeiser post?
- Most posts go out around 11:00 UTC, and Tuesday is its busiest day, at roughly 2.9 posts per day across the measured window.
