A typical post picks up 1.2K interactions against 659K followers, an engagement rate of 0.179%. Measured over 9 original posts, its engagement rate beats 79% of 3,791 tracked accounts of a similar size. Comparing inside a size band matters here: engagement rate falls as accounts grow, so a raw rate would mostly just re-measure the follower count. Posts are seen about 151K times each, and 0.78% of those impressions turn into an interaction. That is about 22.9% of the follower count, which is the gap between an audience on paper and an audience in a timeline. Posting runs at about 2.5 posts a day over the last 30 days, though only 30% of days saw any activity at all. Most posts go out around 22:00 UTC, and Monday is the busiest day of the week. Of the 9 posts sampled, 44% carry an image or video, 11% are part of a thread and 11% link out. The account's strongest tracked post pulled 2.6K interactions, about 2.2x its own typical post.

Compared with accounts its own size

Max Kellerman's engagement rate beats 79% of the tracked X accounts closest to it in follower count (3,791 accounts, accounts of similar size (decile 8 of 10)). A percentile is spread evenly by construction, so 50 really is the middle of that group and 90 really is its top tenth.

On engagement per impression rather than per follower it beats 46% of the same group. When those two numbers disagree, the gap is about how far its posts travel rather than how people react to them.

Where this sits in the catalog

At 0.179%, Max Kellerman sits above the 50th percentile of the 36,654 accounts in this comparison. That places it in the above the median band, which runs 0.08% to 0.433%.

This account posts most often around 22:00 UTC, and Monday is its busiest day of the week. The bars below are the catalog-wide pattern, with this account's own busiest slot marked. They do not show how this account performs at each hour: we keep one aggregate per account, not one per hour, so that measurement does not exist in our data.

More and more it is possible the Yankees do NOT get a catcher. Jeffers and Goodman do not appear to be moving. Heard some talks with Pirates about Henry Davis, who is not the kind of bad hitter they need. Seem more looking at relief/RH OF bat. Still an hour left though.

It’s not that Yankees fans expect to win the World Series every year; that’s impossible. But we do demand to win it more than anyone else — certainly more than the Red Sox or Dodgers! Quarter way into this century the Yankees are failing that standard.

Not enough people talk about Graig Nettles: • 390 HR, 67.9 WAR, 6x AS, 2x WAR leader • More HR than HOF 3Bs Santo, Brett, Rolen • More WAR than Banks, Killebrew, Winfield • Led NYY to championships in 1977 & 1978 • Was named 1981 ALCS MVP (1.488 OPS) • Never struck out 100x in 22 seasons • 2x GG, played 20,625 innings at 3B Somehow, he never received more than 8.3% of the vote from the BBWAA, falling off the HOF ballot after receiving just 4.7% in 1997, his fourth year of eligibility. An injustice!

Brian Cashman says the Yankees believe they have "quality catching," adding that the team has struggled offensively overall, not just the catchers "There was no opportunity that existed for us that we felt good enough about to be able to push through on. Before the Yankees trade for a starting catcher, think about what it does to the SP staff Austin Wells has the best catcher ERA in MLB: 2.84 Yankees team ERA: 3.28 Behind Wells: 2.84 Behind Escarra and Sánchez: 3.98 Same pitching staff w/ 1.14 run gap

A 1.56 ERA in the strike shortened 1994 season, built entirely on command rather than velocity, was just one stop on Greg Maddux's run of four straight Cy Young Awards from 1992 to 1995. Maddux is the starter you want in any pitchers' duel. https://t.co/yfLKaXaouO

Happy Birthday to Graig Nettles. A 6X All Star, 2X Gold Glove, 1981’ ALCS MVP and 2X WS Champion (77-78’), he played 22 seasons (1967-88’). He hit .248/.329/.421, .750 OPS, 110 OPS+, 390 HR, 1314 RBI, 1193 Runs, 1088 Walks, 328 Doubles, 2225 Hits, 3779 TB, 68.0 WAR. He led the AL in HR 1X and WAR 2X. Considered by many to be one of the greatest defensive 3B of All Time, he often was overshadowed by Brooks Robinson. He hit 30+ HR 2X and recorded 90+ RBI 4X. He ranks 66th on the All Time HR list, T-105th in RBI, 92nd in Walks and 183rd in Hits.

Is that a good engagement rate?
