BASIN AÇIKLAMASI Değerli Basın Mensupları, Pençe-Kilit Harekâtı kapsamında 28 Mayıs 2022 tarihinde icra edilen mağara arama-temizleme faaliyeti sırasında, teröristlerin açtığı ateş sonucu P. Ütğm. Nuri Melih Bozkurt şehit olmuş, yoğun ateş nedeniyle naaşına ulaşılamamıştır. Bölge kontrol altına alınmış, teröristler etkisiz hâle getirilmiş ancak tüm aramalara rağmen şehidimizin naaşına henüz ulaşılamamıştır. Arama çalışmalarında, naaşın bulunabileceği tüm alanlar özel teşkil edilen ekiplerce titizlikle taranmaktadır. Devam eden arama faaliyetleri kapsamında; Pençe-Kilit Harekât bölgesinde bulunan, önceden hastane maksadıyla kullanıldığı bilinen, teröristlerden temizlenmiş olan 852 rakımlı tepedeki bir mağarada 6 Temmuz 2025 tarihinde yapılan arama-tarama faaliyeti sırasında 19 personelimiz metan gazına maruz kalmış, derhâl hastaneye sevk edilmiş; yapılan tüm müdahalelere rağmen beş kahraman personelimiz şehit olmuştur. Bölgede kurtarma faaliyetleri tam teçhizatlı AFAD ve TSK ekiplerinin koordineli çalışmalarıyla devam etmektedir. Bizleri derin bir acı ve üzüntüye boğan bu elim olayda hayatını kaybeden aziz şehitlerimize Allah’tan rahmet, kederli ailelerine, Türk Silahlı Kuvvetlerimize ve asil milletimize başsağlığı ve sabır; etkilenen personelimize acil şifalar dileriz.
