A typical post picks up 1.3K interactions against 465K followers, an engagement rate of 0.283%. Measured over 8 original posts, its engagement rate beats 84% of 3,774 tracked accounts of a similar size. Comparing inside a size band matters here: engagement rate falls as accounts grow, so a raw rate would mostly just re-measure the follower count. Posts are seen about 42K times each, and 3.10% of those impressions turn into an interaction. That is about 9.11% of the follower count, which is the gap between an audience on paper and an audience in a timeline. Posting runs at about 1.5 posts a day over the last 30 days, though only 20% of days saw any activity at all. Most posts go out around 09:00 UTC, and Tuesday is the busiest day of the week. Of the 8 posts sampled, 63% carry an image or video. The account's strongest tracked post pulled 13K interactions, about 9.9x its own typical post. Recurring topics include #atvideo, #governmentschools, #khabardar.

Compared with accounts its own size

maithun's engagement rate beats 84% of the tracked X accounts closest to it in follower count (3,774 accounts, accounts of similar size (decile 7 of 10)). A percentile is spread evenly by construction, so 50 really is the middle of that group and 90 really is its top tenth.

On engagement per impression rather than per follower it beats 82% of the same group. When those two numbers disagree, the gap is about how far its posts travel rather than how people react to them.

Where this sits in the catalog

At 0.283%, maithun sits above the 50th percentile of the 36,654 accounts in this comparison. That places it in the above the median band, which runs 0.08% to 0.433%.

Engagement rate as a share of followers, across the 36,654 accounts we have scanned enough to measure. The axis is logarithmic, because the top and bottom of this population are about 106,977 times apart and a linear axis would flatten everything below the median into a single point.

This account posts most often around 09:00 UTC, and Tuesday is its busiest day of the week. The bars below are the catalog-wide pattern, with this account's own busiest slot marked. They do not show how this account performs at each hour: we keep one aggregate per account, not one per hour, so that measurement does not exist in our data.

In India, unfortunately, education means school infrastructure, brightly coloured benches, mural paintings on walls, and brightly painted walls. That’s it. No one talks about the quality of teaching, because the moment the quality of teaching is discussed, merit will be discussed, reservation will be discussed, and no political party is comfortable talking about it. Vegetables become “vegitable” and deer becomes “dear,” but hey, look at the benches they’re so good! Look at the wall paintings they don’t even look like they belong in a school in India! Show them the quality of education, and it looks like school in Bangladesh. This is what happens when people who have themselves failed basic exams three times demand improvements in education, while those who are genuinely educated and believe in merit no longer see any hope.

BJP accounts from different states are suddenly trying to project an image of complete unity. 👇🏻 But the reality on the ground is far different from what social media suggests. The same BJP where, in one state, a BJP CM filed an FIR against a comedian, while in another state, another BJP CM felicitated the very same comedian. In one state, a BJP CM is mandating the regional language on people from other states, while the BJP CMs of those states remain completely silent, refusing to stand up for their own people.

Guess the prompt India Today used 😂 Imagine producing a graph like this in the age of AI, when a simple prompt could generate a proper bar chart. 😭 But AI wouldn’t have done the agenda-pushing that @IndiaToday apparently wanted to do in the name of journalism. India Today and its journalists seem desperate to see Rahul Gandhi as the next PM and that desperation is on full display in this chart.

Kolkata, West Bengal: On Kolkata Police Removing a TMC Billboard, Former TMC Spokesperson Riju Dutta says, "... The KMC has gone there to carry out its work. If Abhishek Banerjee feels that he is running the government, and from Camac Street if he feels that he is running the KMC, and Corporation and the whole of Bengal, then he is wrong, this is his misunderstanding. If a complaint has been filed, there will be an investigation. If he has not done anything wrong, then what is there to be afraid of? The law will take its course"

What is maithun's engagement rate on X?
maithun (@Being_Humor) has an engagement rate of 0.283%, based on the median interactions across 8 original posts from the last 30 days against 465,389 followers. Replies, reposts and quote-posts of other people are excluded from that sample.
Is that a good engagement rate?
At 0.283%, maithun sits above the 50th percentile of the 36,654 accounts in this comparison. Those comparison accounts are all large ones, because our scanning cadence is weighted towards big accounts, so this is a ranking among peers of similar scale rather than a ranking across X.
Does @Being_Humor have real engagement?
Its engagement rate beats 84% of the tracked X accounts closest to it in follower count (3,774 accounts), which puts it in the top quarter for its size group. Ranking inside a size band matters because engagement rate falls as accounts grow, so a raw rate would mostly re-measure the follower count. It is a starting point for a look at follower quality, not a verdict on it.
When does @Being_Humor post?
Most posts go out around 09:00 UTC, and Tuesday is its busiest day, at roughly 1.47 posts per day across the measured window.
