Measured across the 22,771 channels in our Kick catalog that have been through the follower pass, out of 50,064 we track in total. Kick's live sweep finds a channel and carries everything about it except its follower count, which only the per-channel endpoint returns, so the catalog runs ahead of the ladder. The shape is steep: a quarter of these channels sit at 25 followers or fewer, half are under 249, and the top 1 percent begin at 72,125, about 290 times the median.

Our Kick catalog is built by a sweep that reads the live directory every 15 minutes, so it holds channels we have recorded going live - not every registered account. Followers are the vanity number on a live platform
Subscriptions, tips and the ad share are all counted per person actually watching, so a channel with a long follower list and an empty chat earns like an empty chat. The two numbers come apart badly here: across the Kick channels we measure, the median one has 2.18% of its followers watching at any moment, and even a top-decile channel converts 17.1%. So read this table next to the viewership one rather than instead of it. The median tracked Kick channel averages 2 concurrent viewers, 72 is the 90th percentile and 1,028 the 99th, measured over 44,847 channels. Which means 1,664 followers puts a channel ahead of three quarters of the ones we track and still tells you almost nothing about what it earns.
Where these numbers come from
Our Kick catalog is built by a sweep that reads the live directory every 15 minutes and rolls the samples up nightly. What that produces is a record of channels we have caught going live, not a census of every account ever registered on Kick, and the percentile on this page is a statement about that set. It is a useful set to be measured against - it is the people who actually stream - but it is not the platform. A channel we have never caught live is simply absent, which says nothing about the channel, and it can still be ranked by typing its follower count into the second field.
