A typical post picks up 1.4K interactions against 521K followers, an engagement rate of 0.266%. Measured over 14 original posts, its engagement rate beats 83% of 3,739 tracked accounts of a similar size. Comparing inside a size band matters here: engagement rate falls as accounts grow, so a raw rate would mostly just re-measure the follower count. Posts are seen about 28K times each, and 5.00% of those impressions turn into an interaction. That is about 5.32% of the follower count, which is the gap between an audience on paper and an audience in a timeline. Posting runs at about 1.6 posts a day over the last 30 days, though only 20% of days saw any activity at all. Most posts go out around 02:00 UTC, and Monday is the busiest day of the week. Of the 14 posts sampled, 86% carry an image or video and 14% link out. The account's strongest tracked post pulled 86K interactions, about 62x its own typical post.

Compared with accounts its own size

Billboard Chris 🌎's engagement rate beats 83% of the tracked X accounts closest to it in follower count (3,739 accounts, accounts of similar size (decile 7 of 10)). A percentile is spread evenly by construction, so 50 really is the middle of that group and 90 really is its top tenth.

On engagement per impression rather than per follower it beats 91% of the same group. When those two numbers disagree, the gap is about how far its posts travel rather than how people react to them.

Where this sits in the catalog

At 0.266%, Billboard Chris 🌎 sits above the 50th percentile of the 36,261 accounts in this comparison. That places it in the above the median band, which runs 0.08% to 0.431%.

This account posts most often around 02:00 UTC, and Monday is its busiest day of the week. The bars below are the catalog-wide pattern, with this account's own busiest slot marked. They do not show how this account performs at each hour: we keep one aggregate per account, not one per hour, so that measurement does not exist in our data.

Demencial.

Regarding the flood disaster in Nepal, it wasn’t a dam that collapsed and there was no earthquake. The leading explanation, based on satellite imagery (Planet Labs), seismic data, and expert analysis, is a glacier collapse / ice-rock avalanche: • A large section of glacier (roughly 600 meters / 2,000 feet wide) at about 5,200 meters altitude snapped off and plunged ~1,200 meters (about 4,000 feet) into the Lhende Khola river valley. • The collapsing ice and rock generated a massive debris-laden surge that raced down the Lhende Khola into the Bhote Koshi and then the Trishuli river system. • The event produced seismic signals initially reported by the USGS as a magnitude 4.4 earthquake. Further analysis showed there was no tectonic earthquake—the collapse and debris flow itself generated energy equivalent to about magnitude 5.2. The ice-rock avalanche may have blocked the Lhende Khola, creating a temporary landslide dam of ice, rock, and debris.
