Citizens' Coalition for Change engagement report
@CCCZimbabwe - 573K followers on X
Measured over 5 original posts from a 30-day window, last computed on August 26, 2026.
Engagement
Early reading. We have captured 5 original posts for this account, below the 8 we require before treating a median as settled. The numbers above describe what we have seen so far, not a finished profile of the account.
A typical post picks up 171 interactions against 573K followers, an engagement rate of 0.03%. Posts are seen about 16K times each, and 1.04% of those impressions turn into an interaction. That is about 2.86% of the follower count, which is the gap between an audience on paper and an audience in a timeline. Posting runs at about 0.73 post a day over the last 30 days, though only 27% of days saw any activity at all. Most posts go out around 07:00 UTC, and Thursday is the busiest day of the week. Of the 5 posts sampled, 100% carry an image or video. The account's strongest tracked post pulled 582 interactions, about 3.4x its own typical post. Only 5 original posts have been captured so far, fewer than the 8 posts we want behind a median before treating it as settled. Read the figures above as an early measurement of this account, not as a finished profile of it.

President Mnangagwa has signed into law constitutional amendments to extend his term by 2 years until 2030. The amendments, which also replace direct presidential elections in favour of a vote by parliament, faced widespread resistance but universal support from Zanu PF MPs https://t.co/OBLtr13tDP

“Taking an anti-Chamisa hatchet job, and engaging in unending character assassination, riddled with lies and abused half-truths, is not journalism. That’s politics. That’s not JOURNALISM , that’s JEALOUSISM. Of course, continuing on this path, remains your choice as well.” @nelsonchamisa

Honorable Amos Chibaya and Senator Vongayi Tome have received chilling death threats for their courageous stand against CAB3 and reported the matter to their nearest police stations. In the past week, Honorable Monica Mukwada, Masaka, and Councillor Sophia have endured terrifying visits to their homes over the same issue. The regime in Harare, long known for its violent and oppressive tactics, has now turned its fury against ordinary citizens who dare to oppose this anti people bill. But let it be clear: intimidation will not silence us. We will use every legal and constitutional channel to resist this anti-people constitutional amendment, no matter the threats we face. You claim that citizens overwhelmingly support your bill, if that were true, why do you fear the very people you insist are behind it? Fellow citizens, this is not just Chibaya’s fight, nor Tome’s, nor Mukwada’s. This is our fight. It is a fight for every Zimbabwean, for our dignity, for our rights, and for the space guaranteed to us by the constitution. Let us stand together, united and unyielding, to defend what belongs to us all.
