Actualización | Hasta ayer, 344 toneladas de ayudas habían salido de Bogotá, hoy cerraremos el día con más de 500 toneladas enviadas a las zona más afectadas. Además de los más de 100 bomberos que están en Cali y Pereira, en alianza con Camacol, enviamos 30 ingenieros, incluidos 11 del IDU, así como funcionarios del IDIGER para evaluar estructuras y del Acueducto para trabajar en labores de reconexión de redes de acueducto. Bogotá ha sido un enorme ejemplo de solidaridad, así que muchas gracias a quienes han donado. La invitación es a que sigamos siendo solidarios, Colombia nos necesita.

Actualización | Más de 1.174 toneladas de ayudas han salido de Bogotá con destino a los lugares más afectados por el terremoto. Esto se suma a las más de 900 unidades de sangre, los equipos de ingenieros para evaluar estructuras y los funcionarios del Acueducto para trabajar en la reconexión de redes en las ciudades más afectadas, entre otras ayudas que hemos puesto en marcha desde Bogotá. En medio de días difíciles y dolorosos, la solidaridad de las y los bogotanos ha sido ejemplar. No vamos a dejar solos a quienes más ayuda necesitan en estos momentos: Bogotá está lista para seguir aportando en la etapa de reconstrucción.

Nuestros bomberos son un orgullo para Bogotá. Regresaron de Cali y Pereira nuestros @BomberosBogota, después de estar desde el primer día en las zonas más afectadas por el terremoto. Varios alcaldes nos han dicho que son los mejores equipos que han operado en sus ciudades. La solidaridad de Bogotá no solo se demuestra con las más de 2.300 toneladas de ayudas enviadas, sino también con algo invaluable: personal capacitado que estuvo desde el primer momento y contribuyó a salvar vidas. Gracias por dejar en alto el nombre de Bogotá.
