Dr Aseem Malhotra engagement report
@DrAseemMalhotra - 1.8M followers on X
Measured over 63 original posts from a 30-day window, last computed on September 1, 2026.
Engagement
A typical post picks up 1.3K interactions against 1.8M followers, an engagement rate of 0.075%. Measured over 63 original posts, its engagement rate beats 80% of 3,774 tracked accounts of a similar size. Comparing inside a size band matters here: engagement rate falls as accounts grow, so a raw rate would mostly just re-measure the follower count. Posts are seen about 111K times each, and 1.20% of those impressions turn into an interaction. That is about 6.27% of the follower count, which is the gap between an audience on paper and an audience in a timeline. Posting runs at about 8 posts a day over the last 30 days, with activity on roughly 63% of days. Most posts go out around 16:00 UTC, and Sunday is the busiest day of the week. Of the 63 posts sampled, 65% carry an image or video and 33% link out. The account's strongest tracked post pulled 64K interactions, about 48x its own typical post. Recurring topics include #bbc, #bbcradio, #bmjinvestigation.

Compared with accounts its own size
Dr Aseem Malhotra's engagement rate beats 80% of the tracked X accounts closest to it in follower count (3,774 accounts, accounts of similar size (decile 10 of 10)). A percentile is spread evenly by construction, so 50 really is the middle of that group and 90 really is its top tenth.
On engagement per impression rather than per follower it beats 62% of the same group. When those two numbers disagree, the gap is about how far its posts travel rather than how people react to them.
Where this sits in the catalog
At 0.075%, Dr Aseem Malhotra sits above the 25th percentile of the 36,654 accounts in this comparison. That places it in the below the median band, which runs 0.012% to 0.08%.

This account posts most often around 16:00 UTC, and Sunday is its busiest day of the week. The bars below are the catalog-wide pattern, with this account's own busiest slot marked. They do not show how this account performs at each hour: we keep one aggregate per account, not one per hour, so that measurement does not exist in our data.

Goodbye Papa. I promise you with all my heart I will ensure that your premature passing will not be in vain & that we achieve justice for those who have suffered unnecessarily from an mRNA jab that should likely never have been approved & certainly not without informed consent. https://t.co/Jo0vZeJBRi

For years, we were told the possibility of a lab leak at the Wuhan Institute of Virology was a conspiracy theory. Now Anthony Fauci's former senior adviser, David Morens, has pleaded guilty to conspiring to defraud the United States by concealing COVID origins records. https://t.co/ESQyTvfmKW

Dr. Fauci’s attorney has just notified us that Fauci refuses to appear for a private transcribed interview. The American people deserve answers to legitimate questions regarding our miserably failed response to COVID-19. Some of those questions can only be answered by Dr. Fauci. He arrogantly once stated that he was “very happy to testify before any congressional oversight committee. I have nothing to hide." Apparently, he has a lot to hide. Since Fauci refuses to talk about his role and decisions related to COVID-19, my Subcommittee will continue to obtain his records and request to speak with key individuals that he worked with. We will explore our legal options before deciding our next steps.

People born in the 70s really won the fcking life lottery. You got to grow up without social media, buy a house before prices went completely insane, build a career before everything became a damn hustle, and still experience technology taking off. What a time to be alive.

After a newborn died of a ruptured spleen during an at-home birth, Gov. Josh Shapiro said it was measles. The coroner says it wasn't. Health officials scold that the infant was unvaccinated. Babies receive the MMR vaccine at 6 months to a year. The newborn presumably was only a few hours old. Five days before the presser, a Democrat dark money group advised hitting Republicans on Trump's vaccine policy. https://t.co/6dF8zueMJp

Novak Djokovic takes the high road in his new documentary about the trauma he endured at the hands of the Australian Govt. Who in 2022 demonised and deported him all for the crime of being unvaccinated. Imagine calling such an elite athlete a threat to public health and an inciter of anti vaccination sentiment. How insane! Whilst he holds no grudges he does see it as unjust. Vilified because his position did not suit the narrative at the time. Turns out he was right. Australia owes this legend an apology.

🚨 JUST IN: NIH Director Jay Bhattacharya OBLITERATES PA Gov. Josh Shapiro for manufacturing measles deaths to scare the public "The governor said the kids were not vaccinated — of course, babies are NOT vaccinated for measles until they're at least 15 months old. So of COURSE they're not vaccinated, right?!" "What the governor is doing is he's playing this out over the airwaves for political purposes, just like what happened during COVID!" "But they're not going to release any other information." "And this is why there's such deep distrust in public health." "What Secretary Kennedy's been doing is to try to restore that trust at the NIH." Democrats need to stop politicizing health!

The thing I hear more than anything when I’m out talking to people is just how expensive everyday life has become. The weekly shop. The commute to work. A trip into town with the kids. Too many people are doing everything right and still finding there’s not enough left at the end of the month. That has to change. My number one priority is giving people some room to breathe on the cost of living. That means taking the big decisions needed to make Britain better off, but it also means fixing the everyday things that quietly take money out of people’s pockets. We've already announced a £2 cap on bus fares in England and a tax cut on electricity bills. And last week, we announced new rules to stop people being trapped in subscriptions they don’t want and a crackdown on fake discounts that make you think you’re getting a bargain when you’re not. And there’s much more to come. Because when someone tells me something is making their life harder or more expensive, I don’t think the answer from government should be to shrug its shoulders and say that’s just how things are. One of the reasons I’m spending this summer getting out across the country is to hear directly from people about what else needs to change. The best ideas don’t all come from Westminster. More often than not, they come from the people dealing with these problems every day. So if you see me out and about, come and tell me what you think. We won’t fix everything overnight. But wherever my government can make life a little easier, fairer or more affordable, we will. That’s how we give people room to breathe and start bringing back hope.

- What is Dr Aseem Malhotra's engagement rate on X?
- Dr Aseem Malhotra (@DrAseemMalhotra) has an engagement rate of 0.075%, based on the median interactions across 63 original posts from the last 30 days against 1,768,613 followers. Replies, reposts and quote-posts of other people are excluded from that sample.
- Is that a good engagement rate?
- At 0.075%, Dr Aseem Malhotra sits above the 25th percentile of the 36,654 accounts in this comparison. Those comparison accounts are all large ones, because our scanning cadence is weighted towards big accounts, so this is a ranking among peers of similar scale rather than a ranking across X.
- Does @DrAseemMalhotra have real engagement?

Ranking inside a size band matters because engagement rate falls as accounts grow, so a raw rate would mostly re-measure the follower count. It is a starting point for a look at follower quality, not a verdict on it.
