@DuncanBannatyne - 647K followers on X
Measured over 8 original posts from a 30-day window, last computed on August 25, 2026.
Engagement
A typical post picks up 393 interactions against 647K followers, an engagement rate of 0.061%. Measured over 8 original posts, its engagement rate beats 61% of 3,862 tracked accounts of a similar size, which puts it in the middle of its size range rather than at either end. Posts are seen about 91K times each, and 0.432% of those impressions turn into an interaction. That is about 14.1% of the follower count, which is the gap between an audience on paper and an audience in a timeline. Posting runs at about 2.4 posts a day over the last 30 days, though only 20% of days saw any activity at all. Most posts go out around 17:00 UTC, and Saturday is the busiest day of the week. Of the 8 posts sampled, 63% carry an image or video. The account's strongest tracked post pulled 9.4K interactions, about 24x its own typical post.

Compared with accounts its own size
Duncan Bannatyne's engagement rate beats 61% of the tracked X accounts closest to it in follower count (3,862 accounts, accounts of similar size (decile 8 of 10)). A percentile is spread evenly by construction, so 50 really is the middle of that group and 90 really is its top tenth.
On engagement per impression rather than per follower it beats 31% of the same group. When those two numbers disagree, the gap is about how far its posts travel rather than how people react to them.

At 0.061%, Duncan Bannatyne sits above the 25th percentile of the 37,459 accounts in this comparison. That places it in the below the median band, which runs 0.012% to 0.081%.

This account posts most often around 17:00 UTC, and Saturday is its busiest day of the week. The bars below are the catalog-wide pattern, with this account's own busiest slot marked. They do not show how this account performs at each hour: we keep one aggregate per account, not one per hour, so that measurement does not exist in our data.

This month’s Prime Minister Andy Burnham @andyburnham has just announced he’s increasing foreign aid to 0.7% of GDP, which is £21 billion per year. Let me put that in context for you. The average amount of income tax paid per year by basic rate taxpayers in the UK is £2,700. So that means that nearly 8 million taxpayers in the UK are working all year ONLY to give their wages to foreign governments. There are 30 million basic rate taxpayers in the UK, so one in four people that you see working in restaurants or pubs, nurses, cleaners and many more are paying all of their tax to foreign countries. Countries like Pakistan that can afford nuclear weapons, to India that can afford a space programme, to China that can afford to buy the world, to Somalia that doesn’t have a government, only warlords. Etc etc etc etc etc. One in eight British basic rate taxpayers are paying all of their money not to schools in this country. Not for hospitals in this country, nor to fix the roads, nor anything whatsoever in Britain. Every penny goes abroad. Eight million people here giving their hard earned money to the British government who then give every penny away. Every single penny. So, if you’ve ever wondered why things aren’t improving in this country and wonder what happens to the money you’ve made from your toil and your sleepless nights of wondering how you’ll pay the next bill, that’s what happens to it. 8 million of you are working for foreign governments. Think about that.

Just heard a very loud bang/explosion in Glasgow, followed by sirens. Sounds like it was towards the city centre, then this huge plume of smoke, m8 direction. Anyone else feel the ground shake? https://t.co/mMAHYWhPgT

@DuncanBannatyne hi Duncan, my wife would like to use her blue light card to sign up for your offer at your gym. She was told that she cannot access this offer while you are running another other. The blue light offer you run is greater than your August offer?? Is this correct?

Reading these numbers
A typical post picks up 393 interactions against 647K followers, an engagement rate of 0.061%. - What is Duncan Bannatyne's engagement rate on X?
- Duncan Bannatyne (@DuncanBannatyne) has an engagement rate of 0.061%, based on the median interactions across 8 original posts from the last 30 days against 647,333 followers. Replies, reposts and quote-posts of other people are excluded from that sample.
- Is that a good engagement rate?
- At 0.061%, Duncan Bannatyne sits above the 25th percentile of the 37,459 accounts in this comparison. Those comparison accounts are all large ones, because our scanning cadence is weighted towards big accounts, so this is a ranking among peers of similar scale rather than a ranking across X.
- Does @DuncanBannatyne have real engagement?
- Its engagement rate beats 61% of the tracked X accounts closest to it in follower count (3,862 accounts), which puts it in the middle of its size range group. Ranking inside a size band matters because engagement rate falls as accounts grow, so a raw rate would mostly re-measure the follower count. It is a starting point for a look at follower quality, not a verdict on it.
- When does @DuncanBannatyne post?
- Most posts go out around 17:00 UTC, and Saturday is its busiest day, at roughly 2.37 posts per day across the measured window.
