Today, I joined the family and residents of Riara Village, Imara Daima Ward, Embakasi South, to lay six-year-old Jedidah Mwende to rest at Lang’ata Cemetery. I sincerely thank H.E. President William Samoei Ruto @WilliamsRuto for his support of KSh 250,000, which enabled the family to give little Jedidah a dignified farewell. The handling of this case has been appalling; delayed DNA results, insensitive communication, no regular updates and, to date, no arrest. I call upon @DCI_Kenya to urgently pursue every lead and bring Jedidah’s killer to justice. And to former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua @rigathi, who appears to know who killed everyone else: perhaps he can also tell Kenyans who killed Jedidah. Rest peacefully, little angel.
