Ross Gerber engagement report
@GerberKawasaki - 429K followers on X
Measured over 18 original posts from a 30-day window, last computed on August 30, 2026.
Engagement
A typical post picks up 68 interactions against 429K followers, an engagement rate of 0.016%. Measured over 18 original posts, its engagement rate beats 37% of 3,758 tracked accounts of a similar size, which puts it in the middle of its size range rather than at either end. Posts are seen about 14K times each, and 0.491% of those impressions turn into an interaction. That is about 3.23% of the follower count, which is the gap between an audience on paper and an audience in a timeline. Posting runs at about 1.4 post a day over the last 30 days, though only 23% of days saw any activity at all. Most posts go out around 15:00 UTC, and Tuesday is the busiest day of the week. Of the 18 posts sampled, 17% carry an image or video and 39% link out. The account's strongest tracked post pulled 945 interactions, about 14x its own typical post. Recurring topics include #bitcoin, #breaking, #nvidia.

Compared with accounts its own size
Ross Gerber's engagement rate beats 37% of the tracked X accounts closest to it in follower count (3,758 accounts, accounts of similar size (decile 7 of 10)). A percentile is spread evenly by construction, so 50 really is the middle of that group and 90 really is its top tenth.
On engagement per impression rather than per follower it beats 33% of the same group. When those two numbers disagree, the gap is about how far its posts travel rather than how people react to them.
Where this sits in the catalog
At 0.016%, Ross Gerber sits above the 25th percentile of the 36,521 accounts in this comparison. That places it in the below the median band, which runs 0.012% to 0.08%.

This account posts most often around 15:00 UTC, and Tuesday is its busiest day of the week. The bars below are the catalog-wide pattern, with this account's own busiest slot marked. They do not show how this account performs at each hour: we keep one aggregate per account, not one per hour, so that measurement does not exist in our data.

The only reason this homeless man was killed was because the @santamonicacity does not enforce the laws. They allow crazy drug addicts to roam the streets freely harassing people and scaring our children. They do nothing to protect the quality of life for us tax paying citizens. Then the police come to protect us and they are attacked and forced to defend themselves. It’s sad a man died due to failed homeless policies, they will count this as one less homeless on the streets and declare homelessness is down in SM. We need a drastic change in the way we deal with the scourge of tolerance to crime and drug addiction. The DSA is fine with people dying on the streets while they claim to be protecting the rights of the homeless. Most homeless, by the way, are not even from California. Most Santa Monica homeless come from other parts of LA on the metro rail. They know it’s tolerated and then they sleep unmolested in their tents on our beautiful beaches. (Illegally) - the citizens of west Los Angeles have had enough.

Goodbye LIV golf. Couldn’t be more happy to see this end. And the golfers who took the money over the honor of being on the PGA tour. Good luck getting paid 😂

The Fed needs to seems like they are hawkish even though they are going to do nothing and have little ability to lower inflation without causing a recession. It's all fiscal policy causing inflation. The US money printer has never been so busy.

Saddened by the loss and devastation in Nepal. As more climate related disasters affect more of our planet it's imperative that we make changes to the actions that are causing global climate events. It's become undeniable that a lack of action will continue to create harsh consequences.

Reading these numbers
A typical post picks up 68 interactions against 429K followers, an engagement rate of 0.016%. - What is Ross Gerber's engagement rate on X?
- Ross Gerber (@GerberKawasaki) has an engagement rate of 0.016%, based on the median interactions across 18 original posts from the last 30 days against 428,526 followers. Replies, reposts and quote-posts of other people are excluded from that sample.
- Is that a good engagement rate?
- At 0.016%, Ross Gerber sits above the 25th percentile of the 36,521 accounts in this comparison. Those comparison accounts are all large ones, because our scanning cadence is weighted towards big accounts, so this is a ranking among peers of similar scale rather than a ranking across X.
- Does @GerberKawasaki have real engagement?
- Its engagement rate beats 37% of the tracked X accounts closest to it in follower count (3,758 accounts), which puts it in the middle of its size range group. Ranking inside a size band matters because engagement rate falls as accounts grow, so a raw rate would mostly re-measure the follower count. It is a starting point for a look at follower quality, not a verdict on it.
- When does @GerberKawasaki post?
- Most posts go out around 15:00 UTC, and Tuesday is its busiest day, at roughly 1.43 posts per day across the measured window.
