Ghana Presidency engagement report
@GhanaPresidency - 430K followers on X
Measured over 54 original posts from a 30-day window, last computed on September 25, 2026.
Engagement
A typical post picks up 184 interactions against 430K followers, an engagement rate of 0.043%. Measured over 54 original posts, its engagement rate beats 56% of 21,624 tracked accounts of a similar size, which puts it in the middle of its size range rather than at either end. Posts are seen about 6.5K times each, and 2.83% of those impressions turn into an interaction. That is about 1.51% of the follower count, which is the gap between an audience on paper and an audience in a timeline. Posting runs at about 2.5 posts a day over the last 30 days, though only 43% of days saw any activity at all. Most posts go out around 16:00 UTC, and Wednesday is the busiest day of the week. Of the 54 posts sampled, 98% carry an image or video and 20% are part of a thread. The account's strongest tracked post pulled 671 interactions, about 3.6x its own typical post. Recurring topics include #mahamathepresident, #presidentmahamaunga81, #resettingghana.

Compared with accounts its own size
Ghana Presidency's engagement rate beats 56% of the tracked X accounts closest to it in follower count (21,624 accounts, accounts of similar size (decile 10 of 10)). A percentile is spread evenly by construction, so 50 really is the middle of that group and 90 really is its top tenth.
On engagement per impression rather than per follower it beats 76% of the same group. When those two numbers disagree, the gap is about how far its posts travel rather than how people react to them.
Where this sits in the catalog
At 0.043%, Ghana Presidency sits above the 25th percentile of the 218,826 accounts in this comparison. That places it in the below the median band, which runs 0.025% to 0.149%.

Formats this account uses
Its own posting mix on the left, and what each of those formats does across every account we track on the right. Only formats where the effect clears our publish test appear here, so an empty row is a format we could not measure rather than one that does nothing.
| Format | This account | Catalog effect | 95% interval | Accounts behind it |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Image or video | 98% of posts | +111% | +108% to +115% | 34K |

- 98% of this account's sampled posts carry an image or video. Across the catalog, posts with an image or video run 111% above the same accounts' other posts.
- 0% of its posts carry a link off X. Across the catalog, posts with an outbound link run 41% below the same accounts' other posts.
- Its average post runs 715 characters, which falls in the over 280 characters band. Across the catalog, posts over 280 characters run 15% above the same accounts' other posts.
These are catalog-wide differences applied to this account's own posting mix, not a measurement of how each format performs for this account specifically. We keep one median per account, not one per format per account, so the second thing is not something this data can tell you.

Deputy Chief of Staff, Operations, Stan Xoese Dogbe, has directed the Greater Accra Regional Coordinating Council (GARCC) to commence the ecological restoration of reclaimed sections of the Kpeshie Lagoon following the removal of illegal structures within the wetland’s protected buffer zone. The restoration will involve the Forestry Commission and the Environmental Protection Authority (EPA), with plans to plant coconut and other suitable trees while providing the environmental safeguards needed to restore the fragile ecosystem. The directive was issued at Laboma following a demolition exercise by the Post Flood Mitigation Task Force as part of ongoing measures to restore flood-control infrastructure and protect critical water retention areas across Greater Accra. Mr Dogbe emphasised that the objective is not simply to clear the area, but to return the reclaimed sections to their natural state, strengthen the lagoon’s capacity to retain floodwaters and prevent future encroachment. The Kpeshie Lagoon is among Accra’s critical flood intervention points, with years of reclamation, sand filling and development having reduced its natural water-holding capacity. With the clearance now underway, authorities will move towards debris removal, vegetation restoration and sustained environmental protection to strengthen the wetland’s resilience against future flooding. #ResettingGhana.

'We can't fix every road at once': Mahama outlines multi-phase 'Big Push' strategy. President John Dramani Mahama has reassured Ghanaians of his commitment to delivering top-tier, long-lasting road infrastructure under his flagship "Big Push" initiative. Speaking after inspecting ongoing construction on the strategic Wa-Han-Tumu-Navrongo road project on the first day of his #ResettingGhana Tour of the Upper West Region, the president acknowledged the public's widespread demand for better roads and appealed for patience as projects roll out. "I want to assure our people that, although everyone wishes all their roads could be constructed at once, we simply cannot do that," Mahama stated. "There is a limit to the budget we have. That is why there is Big Push Phase One. We are already scoping Big Push Phase Two, and there will also be Big Push Phase Three." Outlining the execution strategy of the Big Push, President Mahama explained that major arterial corridors, the trunk roads, must be prioritised to create a strong foundational network before expanding into local communities. He stressed that completing the trunk roads first ensures motorists from every district can easily access the main highway network for safe, comfortable travel. "As we move forward, we will progress from the trunk roads to the feeder roads that connect with the trunk road network," he added. "After the trunk roads are completed, we will extend the feeder roads into our communities and towns." Expressing confidence in the pace and execution of the Wa-Han-Tumu-Navrongo road stretch, President Mahama said the project is on track for commissioning next year. He added that the road, a vital economic link connecting the Upper West and Upper East Regions, will be upgraded beyond standard surface finishing to ensure long-term value for money. "The work is progressing well, and we will return next year to commission this road. I am confident that the quality of the road will be excellent," he said. "As the Minister said, after the double surface dressing, we will seal the entire road with asphalt from Wa to Bolgatanga. That will ensure the road lasts for at least the next 20 years and requires only minimal maintenance," the president stated. The road inspection was the first activity on the President’s schedule for the two-day regional tour. #MahamaThePresident #ResettingGhana

- What is Ghana Presidency's engagement rate on X?
- Ghana Presidency (@GhanaPresidency) has an engagement rate of 0.043%, based on the median interactions across 54 original posts from the last 30 days against 430,407 followers. Replies, reposts and quote-posts of other people are excluded from that sample.
- Is that a good engagement rate?
- At 0.043%, Ghana Presidency sits above the 25th percentile of the 218,826 accounts in this comparison. Those comparison accounts are all large ones, because our scanning cadence is weighted towards big accounts, so this is a ranking among peers of similar scale rather than a ranking across X.
- Does @GhanaPresidency have real engagement?
- Its engagement rate beats 56% of the tracked X accounts closest to it in follower count (21,624 accounts), which puts it in the middle of its size range group. Ranking inside a size band matters because engagement rate falls as accounts grow, so a raw rate would mostly re-measure the follower count. It is a starting point for a look at follower quality, not a verdict on it.
- When does @GhanaPresidency post?
- Most posts go out around 16:00 UTC, and Wednesday is its busiest day, at roughly 2.53 posts per day across the measured window.
