A typical post picks up 853 interactions against 46K followers, an engagement rate of 1.86%. Measured over 12 original posts, its engagement rate beats 85% of 21,625 tracked accounts of a similar size. Comparing inside a size band matters here: engagement rate falls as accounts grow, so a raw rate would mostly just re-measure the follower count. Posts are seen about 38K times each, and 2.23% of those impressions turn into an interaction. That is about 83.2% of the follower count, which is the gap between an audience on paper and an audience in a timeline. Posting runs at about 1.3 post a day over the last 30 days, though only 17% of days saw any activity at all. Most posts go out around 00:00 UTC, and Saturday is the busiest day of the week. Of the 12 posts sampled, 100% carry an image or video. The account's strongest tracked post pulled 7.3K interactions, about 8.6x its own typical post.

Compared with accounts its own size

Geoffrey Mosiria's engagement rate beats 85% of the tracked X accounts closest to it in follower count (21,625 accounts, accounts of similar size (decile 4 of 10)). A percentile is spread evenly by construction, so 50 really is the middle of that group and 90 really is its top tenth.

On engagement per impression rather than per follower it beats 55% of the same group. When those two numbers disagree, the gap is about how far its posts travel rather than how people react to them.

Where this sits in the catalog

At 1.86%, Geoffrey Mosiria sits above the 75th percentile of the 218,281 accounts in this comparison. That places it in the top 25% band, which runs 0.705% to 2.63%.

Today, I have begun the journey to send the Chief Cashier of City Hall home. I worked hard and was praised publicly, but behind the scenes, I faced frustration and intimidation! https://t.co/70sKTMcyXC

JAMENI NAIROBI TULIKOSEA MUNGU WAPI? The people of Nairobi need change. They need responsible leadership, accountability, and a government that values human life. Today, a 14-storey building collapsed in Eastleigh, leaving several people trapped inside. My prayers are with the families, friends, and relatives of those trapped inside, and I hope for their safe rescue. This tragedy raises serious concerns about corruption, impunity, and failures within City Hall’s planning and construction oversight departments. When buildings collapse and lives are endangered without meaningful action, it demonstrates a failure of leadership and a government that is not adequately protecting its people. When I was serving in the Environment Department, I tried to stop illegal construction activities involving excavation from one beacon to another. My efforts were met with hostility from my former boss, who summoned the entire City Hall government to a meeting at Charter Hall. Those present included CECs, County Chief Officers, Sub-County Administrators, Ward Administrators, all Environment Officers and his handlers . During that meeting, two innocent Environment Officers were suspended for carrying out their professional duties of stopping an illegal excavation at Roysambu Subcounty and south C . A few months later, a building collapsed in South C, killing three people. I have evidence relating to these events, and I am prepared to present it through the appropriate channels. I was warned to keep off construction sites and even instructed not to undertake environmental work that required the involvement of our technical experts. This raises serious questions about whether professionals are being allowed to perform their duties independently and whether public safety is being sacrificed to protect other interests. Developers in Nairobi have also raised serious concerns about the approval process. I have information alleging that some developers spend millions of shillings to obtain building approvals, with figures reportedly reaching at least KSh 56 million and, in the case of some foreign developers Chinese and others, KSh 92 million or more. These allegations must be independently investigated, and anyone found engaging in corruption must be held accountable. The approval of buildings must be guided by qualified professionals, technical assessments, and strict compliance with safety standards not political influence. No single individual should override the professional judgment of experts when the lives of Nairobi residents are at stake. I therefore appeal to His Excellency the President to intervene and help restore order and accountability in Nairobi’s construction sector, including by ensuring that qualified experts from the national government support independent investigations and the enforcement of building safety regulations. I am also aware of threats and intimidation against me. I have already recorded a statement with the police concerning two politicians whom I have implicated, and I intend to record a further statement at DCI Headquarters. I call upon the relevant security agencies to investigate these concerns and ensure my safety, as well as the safety of everyone who dares to speak out against wrongdoing. Nairobi needs fair politics not corruption, intimidation, or the loss of innocent lives. Our people deserve leadership that protects them. Our professionals deserve the freedom to do their jobs without fear. Our developers deserve a transparent and fair approval process. Above all, every Nairobi resident deserves to live and work in a city where human life is valued above money and political interests. Nairobi needs change. Nairobi needs accountability. Nairobi deserves leadership that puts people first.

NAIROBI IS NOT READY FOR A POLITICIAN; IT NEEDS A WORKER! This morning had a productive meeting with these two great leaders whose track records speak for themselves. It’s time to move from politics to results-oriented leadership backed by verifiable track records. The era of sloganeering and lazy theft is over! As I have always said, I will work with all like-minded leaders to fix Nairobi. Here’s to a fixed city under the sun. NAIROBI. The only person missing here is Governor Mike to make Nairobi complete. SIRI NI MOSIRIA! GOVERNOR 2027 NI MOSIRIA . NAIROBI NI MORE SERIOUS NA GEOFFREY MOSIRIA!

JAMENI, WATOTO WANGU WANALIA MITAANI! 😭💔 Seen this online and it has made me sad , NI UCHUNGU SANA! My children, forgive me. I made you a promise that with this month’s salary, I would come for you, rescue you from the streets, and help you get back to school. Unfortunately, that salary is gone, but my promise to you is still alive. My heart is heavy because I know you are still out there, struggling, hungry, and hoping that one day someone will come to your rescue. Watoto wangu, msilie. Baba yenu hajawasahau! 😭❤️ I may not have the money right now, but I still have a heart that beats for you, the courage to keep fighting for you, and faith in God, who never abandons His children. I promise to do everything within my ability to get you off the streets, help you return to school, and give you a chance to pursue your dreams. Your current situation will not be the end of your story. I hear that some people are planning to deploy goons to stop me from doing what I believe God has called me to do for His children. If this is true, I want them to understand one thing: you can frustrate a person, but you cannot silence the cry of a child who needs help. These children are not my political tools. They are human beings who deserve love, dignity, education, protection, and a future. They need someone to believe in them when the whole world seems to have turned its back on them. I do not know how God will make it happen, but I believe He will make a way. I will keep looking for opportunities, seeking support, and doing whatever I can to ensure that these children are not forgotten. Watoto wangu, msikate tamaa. Street life si mwisho wa maisha yenu. One day, you will look back at these painful days and tell a different story. A story of hope, recovery, education, and victory. To everyone who can help me rescue these children, please stand with me. Even the smallest contribution can help change a child’s life. Mungu akipenda, hakuna atakayezima ndoto za watoto wangu. I may be struggling today, but I will never stop believing that every child deserves a chance at a better tomorrow. ❤️🙏🏽

A CALL TO THE TANZANIAN GOVERNMENT: RESCUE YOUR CITIZENS FROM EXPLOITATION IN NAIROBI! Today, at Parklands 5th Avenue, I encountered three people with disabilities-two children and one elderly person-from Tanzania, begging for money from motorists in the middle of the road. Their actions were putting their lives at risk and disrupting traffic. It is heartbreaking to see innocent and vulnerable people, including children and the elderly, exposed to such danger. I am deeply concerned that these individuals may be victims of organised cartels that exploit people living with disabilities to evoke the emotions and sympathy of well-meaning Kenyans. Many Kenyans give money believing they are helping those in need, yet there are concerns that the money may end up in the pockets of those exploiting them. This is not just a matter of street begging; it is a matter of human dignity, safety, and the protection of vulnerable people from exploitation. I hereby call upon the Government of Tanzania, through its Ambassador in Kenya, to urgently intervene and work with the relevant Kenyan authorities to identify, protect, and facilitate the safe return of these citizens to Tanzania where appropriate. MY COMMITMENT TO PERSONS LIVING WITH DISABILITIES IN NAIROBI Once elected Governor of Nairobi, I will ensure that people living with disabilities who are stranded on our streets are identified, rescued, and supported through the county’s social services programmes. We will work towards ensuring that they have access to safe and dignified accommodation, proper care, and the support they need to live meaningful lives. For those Tanzanian citizens being exploited on our streets, I will work with the relevant security agencies to identify and ensure that the cartels behind this illegal business are investigated and brought to justice. I will also collaborate with the Tanzanian Government and the relevant Kenyan authorities to facilitate the safe and lawful return of Tanzanian citizens who wish to return home, where their government and families can help provide the necessary care and protection. My administration will not tolerate the exploitation of vulnerable people for financial gain. Persons living with disabilities deserve dignity, protection, and opportunities not to be used as instruments for making money by unscrupulous individuals. NAIROBI MUST BE A CITY THAT PROTECTS THE VULNERABLE, RESTORES DIGNITY, AND HOLDS EXPLOITERS ACCOUNTABLE. SIRI NI MOSIRIA ! Nairobi ni More Serious na Geoffrey Mosiria!

Not a governor who doesn’t want to see officers who are hardworking. Not a governor who is surrounded by cartels ! SIRI NI MOSIRIA https://t.co/1aEY5RsGzv

Ile joto iko Nairobi! I want to advise Nairobi people tupande miti, but as we do that, El Niño is coming, and no one is minding about you. How will a government that has approved buildings on top of drainage systems, diverted rivers, and allowed construction in disregard of the law care about you? As the 2027 re-election draws near, they now pretend to be on the ground and care about you. But where were they last year, when floods claimed many lives? They were nowhere to be seen. Do not trust their plans to put measures in place to mitigate the loss of lives and property during these rainy seasons that will come when you least expect. Following the loss of lives in South C and the recent collapse of a building in Eastleigh, they are still not sharing updates with us, the affected city residents. If they cannot keep residents informed about such serious incidents, then do not expect anything good to come out of their El Niño preparedness. The only thing they will tell you is, “We shall investigate, and those responsible for the loss of property and lives shall face the full force of the law.” Be prepared yourselves because this El Niño is not going to be an easy one, especially now that we are experiencing high temperatures. Those are the signs. NAIROBIANS, PLEASE BE PREPARED. DO NOT WAIT FOR DISASTER TO STRIKE BEFORE YOU TAKE ACTION!

Reading these numbers

What is Geoffrey Mosiria's engagement rate on X?
Geoffrey Mosiria (@HonMosiria) has an engagement rate of 1.86%, based on the median interactions across 12 original posts from the last 30 days against 45,893 followers. Replies, reposts and quote-posts of other people are excluded from that sample.
Is that a good engagement rate?
At 1.86%, Geoffrey Mosiria sits above the 75th percentile of the 218,281 accounts in this comparison. Those comparison accounts are all large ones, because our scanning cadence is weighted towards big accounts, so this is a ranking among peers of similar scale rather than a ranking across X.
Does @HonMosiria have real engagement?
Its engagement rate beats 85% of the tracked X accounts closest to it in follower count (21,625 accounts), which puts it in the top quarter for its size group. It is a starting point for a look at follower quality, not a verdict on it.
When does @HonMosiria post?
Most posts go out around 00:00 UTC, and Saturday is its busiest day, at roughly 1.33 posts per day across the measured window.
