A typical post picks up 11K interactions against 1.4M followers, an engagement rate of 0.809%. Measured over 23 original posts, its engagement rate beats 96% of 3,848 tracked accounts of a similar size. Comparing inside a size band matters here: engagement rate falls as accounts grow, so a raw rate would mostly just re-measure the follower count. Posts are seen about 353K times each, and 3.23% of those impressions turn into an interaction. That is about 25.1% of the follower count, which is the gap between an audience on paper and an audience in a timeline. Posting runs at about 1.8 posts a day over the last 30 days, with activity on roughly 47% of days. Most posts go out around 18:00 UTC, and Friday is the busiest day of the week. Of the 23 posts sampled, 57% carry an image or video. The account's strongest tracked post pulled 230K interactions, about 20x its own typical post.

Compared with accounts its own size

Ian Carroll's engagement rate beats 96% of the tracked X accounts closest to it in follower count (3,848 accounts, accounts of similar size (decile 9 of 10)). A percentile is spread evenly by construction, so 50 really is the middle of that group and 90 really is its top tenth.

On engagement per impression rather than per follower it beats 82% of the same group. When those two numbers disagree, the gap is about how far its posts travel rather than how people react to them.

Where this sits in the catalog

At 0.809%, Ian Carroll sits above the 75th percentile of the 37,214 accounts in this comparison. That places it in the top 25% band, which runs 0.436% to 2.10%.

Posting timing

This account posts most often around 18:00 UTC, and Friday is its busiest day of the week. The bars below are the catalog-wide pattern, with this account's own busiest slot marked. They do not show how this account performs at each hour: we keep one aggregate per account, not one per hour, so that measurement does not exist in our data.

I love how everyone is appalled at the very concept of arresting the President of Israel, like we didn’t black-bag the President of Venezuela earlier this year.

“Candace had nothing” is the line they’re deciding on, since it’s all they’ve got. Clearly- Candace has an entire year of content so compelling that they’re losing their minds over how many people find her claims, evidence, and discussion worth listening to- that’s why Andrew was there making a fool of himself today. It was Andrew’s job to debunk it. Instead it became quite clear that Andrew doesn’t know much about the case, or Candace’s claims, or the evidence or even the charges in the case. But let’s just go with Candace has nothing. Great- then leave her alone and go back to your life. Because ‘nothing’ obviously wouldn’t be threatening to anyone and certainly wouldn’t need a multi million dollar propaganda campaign to discredit it.

Were we ever provided a list of which FBI agent were on the ground at UVU within 16 minutes of the explosive going off? That’s actually a fascinating admission given the fact that the FBI office is located in Salt Lake City— a 45 minute drive away. What were the agents doing so close to UVU that day? Who were the first agents to arrive?

What is Ian Carroll's engagement rate on X?
Ian Carroll (@IanCarrollShow) has an engagement rate of 0.809%, based on the median interactions across 23 original posts from the last 30 days against 1,408,981 followers. Replies, reposts and quote-posts of other people are excluded from that sample.
Is that a good engagement rate?
At 0.809%, Ian Carroll sits above the 75th percentile of the 37,214 accounts in this comparison. Those comparison accounts are all large ones, because our scanning cadence is weighted towards big accounts, so this is a ranking among peers of similar scale rather than a ranking across X.
Does @IanCarrollShow have real engagement?
Its engagement rate beats 96% of the tracked X accounts closest to it in follower count (3,848 accounts), which puts it in the top 10% for its size group. Ranking inside a size band matters because engagement rate falls as accounts grow, so a raw rate would mostly re-measure the follower count. It is a starting point for a look at follower quality, not a verdict on it.
When does @IanCarrollShow post?
Most posts go out around 18:00 UTC, and Friday is its busiest day, at roughly 1.83 posts per day across the measured window.
