Joey Jones engagement report
@Johnny_Joey - 545K followers on X
Measured over 10 original posts from a 30-day window, last computed on August 27, 2026.
Engagement
A typical post picks up 836 interactions against 545K followers, an engagement rate of 0.153%. Measured over 10 original posts, its engagement rate beats 77% of 3,899 tracked accounts of a similar size. Comparing inside a size band matters here: engagement rate falls as accounts grow, so a raw rate would mostly just re-measure the follower count. Posts are seen about 21K times each, and 4.01% of those impressions turn into an interaction. That is about 3.83% of the follower count, which is the gap between an audience on paper and an audience in a timeline. Posting runs at about 1.6 posts a day over the last 30 days, though only 33% of days saw any activity at all. Most posts go out around 22:00 UTC, and Sunday is the busiest day of the week. Of the 10 posts sampled, 40% carry an image or video. The account's strongest tracked post pulled 106K interactions, about 127x its own typical post.

Compared with accounts its own size
Joey Jones's engagement rate beats 77% of the tracked X accounts closest to it in follower count (3,899 accounts, accounts of similar size (decile 8 of 10)). A percentile is spread evenly by construction, so 50 really is the middle of that group and 90 really is its top tenth.
On engagement per impression rather than per follower it beats 88% of the same group. When those two numbers disagree, the gap is about how far its posts travel rather than how people react to them.
Where this sits in the catalog
At 0.153%, Joey Jones sits above the 50th percentile of the 37,701 accounts in this comparison. That places it in the above the median band, which runs 0.081% to 0.439%.

The men and women serving aboard the Lincoln are warriors. They just spent almost a year deployed and perhaps even to their own surprise, much of it fighting a war. I’m absolutely passionate about this wave of stories and even interviews this week because you don’t run to the media when war starts to feel like war. But I should have first expressed my gratitude for their service and sacrifice before I criticized the actions of a few of them. Even the ones I criticized have endured it and I am grateful for their service as well. They have my respect and my support. All of them, even the ones who’ve complained in a way I disagree with. War is not easy or comfortable or convenient. And you all saw me go back there in real time -on air- seeing my brothers fall and finding absolute anger at the notion that anyone wearing the same uniform might expect or feel entitled to more than them. I wish this generation of warrior didn’t have to find this out firsthand. War tests your resilience, it tears at your soul. It tests your mind and your body and no one comes home without leaving a part of themselves there. And bringing it home with them. I’m not exempt from that natural law and it was on full display this past weekend. I don’t apologize for that and if they were my Marines I’d have spoken to them exactly the same way but it would have been received differently as I would have been in the suck alongside them and not in front of a camera. These men and women experienced war differently, but will no doubt be affected just the same. Their deployment is historical and sailors will talk about it as we talk about our milestones and epic adventures. I humbly ask that no one use my passion as a license to diminish their honorable service and sacrifice. They’ll come home heroes and we would be ungrateful and unpatriotic to welcome them as anything less.

We have 10s of thousands of troops on islands in the Pacific. If we went to war there (with China) today, the tyranny of distance and contested logistics would create “ship conditions” that would make the complaints of USS Lincoln look like a bad day in the barracks. Every member of Congress showing outrage today will be a complete hypocrite if they nickel and dime the NDAA requests from Marine Corps and Navy.

@Johnny_Joey I heard you say today that we started the war with Iran 🇮🇷. Maybe you forgot about October 7th when Hamas (Iran’s proxy) attached Israel 🇮🇱 killing and taking American hostages. Research history please! #IranWar

- What is Joey Jones's engagement rate on X?
- Joey Jones (@Johnny_Joey) has an engagement rate of 0.153%, based on the median interactions across 10 original posts from the last 30 days against 544,715 followers. Replies, reposts and quote-posts of other people are excluded from that sample.
- Is that a good engagement rate?
- At 0.153%, Joey Jones sits above the 50th percentile of the 37,701 accounts in this comparison. Those comparison accounts are all large ones, because our scanning cadence is weighted towards big accounts, so this is a ranking among peers of similar scale rather than a ranking across X.
- Does @Johnny_Joey have real engagement?
- Its engagement rate beats 77% of the tracked X accounts closest to it in follower count (3,899 accounts), which puts it in the top quarter for its size group. Ranking inside a size band matters because engagement rate falls as accounts grow, so a raw rate would mostly re-measure the follower count. It is a starting point for a look at follower quality, not a verdict on it.
- When does @Johnny_Joey post?
- Most posts go out around 22:00 UTC, and Sunday is its busiest day, at roughly 1.63 posts per day across the measured window.
