A typical post picks up 3.1K interactions against 1.8M followers, an engagement rate of 0.175%. Measured over 22 original posts, its engagement rate beats 90% of 3,881 tracked accounts of a similar size. Comparing inside a size band matters here: engagement rate falls as accounts grow, so a raw rate would mostly just re-measure the follower count. Posts are seen about 222K times each, and 1.41% of those impressions turn into an interaction. That is about 12.5% of the follower count, which is the gap between an audience on paper and an audience in a timeline. Posting runs at about 1.6 posts a day over the last 30 days, with activity on roughly 53% of days. Most posts go out around 14:00 UTC, and Wednesday is the busiest day of the week. Of the 22 posts sampled, 91% carry an image or video and 14% link out. The account's strongest tracked post pulled 47K interactions, about 15x its own typical post. Recurring topics include #nonstop, #closethegap, #gotigersgo.

Compared with accounts its own size

Kirk Herbstreit's engagement rate beats 90% of the tracked X accounts closest to it in follower count (3,881 accounts, accounts of similar size (decile 10 of 10)). A percentile is spread evenly by construction, so 50 really is the middle of that group and 90 really is its top tenth.

On engagement per impression rather than per follower it beats 66% of the same group. When those two numbers disagree, the gap is about how far its posts travel rather than how people react to them.

Where this sits in the catalog

At 0.175%, Kirk Herbstreit sits above the 50th percentile of the 37,459 accounts in this comparison. That places it in the above the median band, which runs 0.081% to 0.438%.

Engagement rate as a share of followers, across the 37,459 accounts we have scanned enough to measure. The axis is logarithmic, because the top and bottom of this population are about 106,523 times apart and a linear axis would flatten everything below the median into a single point.

This account posts most often around 14:00 UTC, and Wednesday is its busiest day of the week. The bars below are the catalog-wide pattern, with this account's own busiest slot marked. They do not show how this account performs at each hour: we keep one aggregate per account, not one per hour, so that measurement does not exist in our data.

Was great to see The Sunshine Scooter this evening in Orlando. I had an appearance with the folks at the @CitrusBowl and had a great conversation with @AndyStaples And coach wanted to come say hello when I landed-I said “of course coach, would love to see ya-can I get ya a ride over?” He said “forget about it-I’m driving over”. I said “coach cmon man, noway you’re 91 you’re not drivin over”. Needless to say I lost that battle. He drove over through a thunderstorm and we spent some time together. Was SO GOOD to see him and share a few laughs and get some advice that he can only provide. He looks and sounds amazing! Love ya LC!!

JORGE POSADA: “I CAN’T WATCH TODAY’S BASEBALL.” Yankees legend Jorge Posada, a 4-time World Series champion and one of the faces of the dynasty years, (The Core 4) did not hold back during his interview on Abriendo El Podcast. Posada said today’s game has become too robotic, too obsessed with formulas, and too accepting of strikeouts. “The baseball being played today is garbage,” Posada said. He also pushed back hard on the analytics crowd trying to judge Derek Jeter’s defense strictly through modern numbers. “You can’t judge Jeter through a computer.” That line right there is pure old-school Yankees. Posada came from an era where putting the ball in play mattered. Moving runners mattered. Taking pride in not striking out mattered. He said back then, striking out 100 times in a season felt like you were not doing your job. Now? Guys can strike out constantly, hit 30 home runs, bat .202, and still get paid like stars. His message was simple: The game got smarter on paper, but dumber between the lines. #yankees #repbx

Incredible experience just being a fan at Game 4 at MSG! This is why we love sports-Here was my angle for the game winner… @nyknicks down 29 and just kept choppin wood to give themselves a chance at the end-and won it with poise and determination. Appreciate Mark Shapiro for the invite to witness it in person. Nothin better!

What is Kirk Herbstreit's engagement rate on X?
Kirk Herbstreit (@KirkHerbstreit) has an engagement rate of 0.175%, based on the median interactions across 22 original posts from the last 30 days against 1,779,959 followers. Replies, reposts and quote-posts of other people are excluded from that sample.
Is that a good engagement rate?
At 0.175%, Kirk Herbstreit sits above the 50th percentile of the 37,459 accounts in this comparison. Those comparison accounts are all large ones, because our scanning cadence is weighted towards big accounts, so this is a ranking among peers of similar scale rather than a ranking across X.
Does @KirkHerbstreit have real engagement?
Its engagement rate beats 90% of the tracked X accounts closest to it in follower count (3,881 accounts), which puts it in the top 10% for its size group. Ranking inside a size band matters because engagement rate falls as accounts grow, so a raw rate would mostly re-measure the follower count. It is a starting point for a look at follower quality, not a verdict on it.
When does @KirkHerbstreit post?
Most posts go out around 14:00 UTC, and Wednesday is its busiest day, at roughly 1.57 posts per day across the measured window.
