A typical post picks up 206 interactions against 381K followers, an engagement rate of 0.054%. Measured over 56 original posts, its engagement rate beats 42% of 3,862 tracked accounts of a similar size, which puts it in the middle of its size range rather than at either end. Posts are seen about 13K times each, and 1.58% of those impressions turn into an interaction. That is about 3.41% of the follower count, which is the gap between an audience on paper and an audience in a timeline. Posting runs at about 2 posts a day over the last 30 days, though only 13% of days saw any activity at all. Most posts go out around 17:00 UTC, and Monday is the busiest day of the week. Of the 56 posts sampled, 96% carry an image or video and 63% link out. The account's strongest tracked post pulled 3.7K interactions, about 18x its own typical post. Recurring topics include #citylife, #ar15, #atf.

Compared with accounts its own size

Mrgunsngear's engagement rate beats 42% of the tracked X accounts closest to it in follower count (3,862 accounts, accounts of similar size (decile 6 of 10)). A percentile is spread evenly by construction, so 50 really is the middle of that group and 90 really is its top tenth.

On engagement per impression rather than per follower it beats 56% of the same group. When those two numbers disagree, the gap is about how far its posts travel rather than how people react to them.

Where this sits in the catalog

At 0.054%, Mrgunsngear sits above the 25th percentile of the 37,582 accounts in this comparison. That places it in the below the median band, which runs 0.012% to 0.081%.

Once again, we see a law enforcement agency (Volusia County sheriff's office in this instance) deploying a "crime scene unit" over a steel pole being cut in half. Do you think this department has ever, in the history of its existence, sent a crime scene unit to investigate ANY crime that had 0 victims and less than $100 of damage? Nope. It shows what they care about; their perceived power to control us. Related note - Governor DeSantis revoked the permits/contracts for all state agencies and Flock today so that's a win. A Nashville, TN police officer shot and killed Jason Sexton (54) with a suppressed Smith & Wesson AR15 wearing an Aimpoint micro red dot optic Saturday after a standoff that lasted over an hour. Mr. Sexton has multiple warrants and early Saturday morning he reportedly had an argument with a gas station clerk over the price of coffee and threatened the clerk with a sword. Mr. Sexton had a passenger in the vehicle that police believed may have been a hostage. *I don't know TN laws* but it seems this officer may be facing charges over this one but time will tell. Plan accordingly... #CityLife #tennessee #police #AR15 #swat #sword #crime #cops #coffee #nashville

This is how I imagine it normally goes after someone says, "Want to see my Taurus concealed carry gun?" 😎👀 A 37 year old man was negligently shot at a shooting range in Paraná, Brazil ⬇️ It's a good reminder of why the firearms safety rules are important. Also, as I've said in many videos, *usually* when only one of the rules is violated no one gets hurt. When 2 or more are violated - someone *almost always* gets hurt. The man who was shot was taken to Bom Jesus Hospital (HOESP), where he remains hospitalized in serious condition in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU). Bodycam footage from last week's officer involved shooting in Baltimore has been released. Tyrik Braxton drove his vehicle toward officer Samuel Thomas who positioned himself in front of the vehicle whilst issuing a ticket for expired tags. As the driver put the car in drive and began advancing toward the officer, Mr. Thomas performed a 9mm complex ballistics test involving an intermediate barrier and vehicle glass with his Gen5 Glock 47 handgun. The test was ultimately unsuccessful and Mr. Braxton is reportedly recovering from his wounds and will now cost taxpayers millions of dollars. After the shooting, a crowd gathered around the scene (shown at the end of the video) and threw objects at the officers and EMS responders because - it's Baltimore. Avoid Baltimore accordingly... #CityLife #baltimore #police #glock #ballistics #IQTest #FAFO #cops #maryland #dumb #urban #democrats #CharmCity #Bmore

Perhaps we shouldn't let "law enforcement" agencies with belt fed machine guns (LAPD has M60s and Richland County, SC has a M2 they used to keep mounted on their M113 🤨 for example but there are many such examples...) have warrantless access to all Americans movements via Flock facial recognition cameras and AI powered software. What is Mrgunsngear's engagement rate on X?
Mrgunsngear (@Mrgunsngear) has an engagement rate of 0.054%, based on the median interactions across 56 original posts from the last 30 days against 381,104 followers. Replies, reposts and quote-posts of other people are excluded from that sample.
Is that a good engagement rate?
At 0.054%, Mrgunsngear sits above the 25th percentile of the 37,582 accounts in this comparison. Those comparison accounts are all large ones, because our scanning cadence is weighted towards big accounts, so this is a ranking among peers of similar scale rather than a ranking across X.
Does @Mrgunsngear have real engagement?
Its engagement rate beats 42% of the tracked X accounts closest to it in follower count (3,862 accounts), which puts it in the middle of its size range group. Ranking inside a size band matters because engagement rate falls as accounts grow, so a raw rate would mostly re-measure the follower count. It is a starting point for a look at follower quality, not a verdict on it.
When does @Mrgunsngear post?
Most posts go out around 17:00 UTC, and Monday is its busiest day, at roughly 1.97 posts per day across the measured window.
