La pregunta incómoda que nadie hace es: ¿qué sistema de valores viene con ese crecimiento? La respuesta está en la Sharia. No en una versión edulcorada para el panfleto municipal, que lamentablemente la misma municipalidad la promueve como punto turístico. Bajo la Sharia, la mujer está desprovista de capacidad jurídica plena: su presencia no es requerida en su propio matrimonio —se expresa a través de un tutor varón—. No hay edad legal mínima para casarse. El hombre puede repudiarla unilateralmente, incluso de viaje y a distancia, con efecto inmediato. Para divorciarse ella necesita el consentimiento del marido y, una vez otorgado, debe devolverle la dote. En herencia, la regla es clara: una parte para la mujer, dos para el hombre. El hombre puede tener hasta cuatro esposas; ella pertenece a uno solo. Las mujeres casadas halladas culpables de adulterio deben ser lapidadas hasta la muerte, según el texto literal. El robo se castiga con amputación de manos. La fornicación y la homosexualidad, con cien latigazos y —reincidente— la muerte. Estos castigos corporales están vigentes en pleno siglo XXI en Arabia Saudita, Irán, Pakistán, Somalia, Sudán y Yemen, entre otros. Esta historia medieval es hoy. La mujer bajo la Sharia queda colocada, en palabras de juristas especializados, en situación de subordinación permanente, equivalente a la de un menor no emancipado en el Derecho occidental, salvando las distancias morales. Su sexualidad es propiedad del marido. Sus hijos heredan la religión del padre, no de ella. Está sometida al control de su vestimenta y conducta en el espacio público. La lapidación está naturalizada: en 2001, Amina Lawal fue condenada en Nigeria por quedar embarazada fuera del matrimonio. La ONU estima que miles de mujeres mueren cada año en crímenes de honor amparados en esta lógica. Ahora bien ¿como es que el feminismo junto con el progresismo socialista y la izquierda, promueven esta contra cultura? ¿Acaso no es de las mayores contradicciones? Vimos a legisladores de la izquierda jurar por Palestina, por una región donde el 93% de sus habitantes son musulmanes dirigidos con la ley Sharia. Pero, No nos vayamos tan lejos, basta caminar los pasillos de la UNC y observar los muros de sus fachadas, pintadas con banderas de Palestina. Hasta cubrieron un edificio universitario entero con una bandera gigante, financiada con recursos de la propia UNC. Finalmente. ¿Cómo es que las mujeres no ponen el grito en el cielo, al ver el avance de una "cultura", que un futuro próximo las someterá? ¿Tanto trabajo costó, equilibrar las cosas, y crecer en conciencia, para que la misma mujer pida de vuelta ser sometida?
