NAF RECRUITS TEST ENDURANCE IN RIGOROUS 10KM INTER-SQUADRON RUN The Nigerian Air Force (NAF) Military Training Centre (MTC), Kaduna, on 29 August 2026, subjected 816 recruits of Basic Military Training Course (BMTC) 46/2025 to a rigorous 10KM Inter-Squadron Run Competition. The fiercely contested exercise brought together recruits from Alpha-Jet, ATR-42, C-130 and MI-35 Squadrons, pushing them through a demanding test of stamina, discipline and determination, while reinforcing the team spirit and mindset of moving together and leaving no one behind, qualities essential to personnel supporting NAF’s counter-terrorism and counter-insurgency operations. Beyond the race, the demanding exercise provided a practical test of the recruits’ physical fitness, endurance and mental resilience.
