Pat Gelsinger engagement report
@PGelsinger - 4.5M followers on X
Measured over 15 original posts from a 30-day window, last computed on September 1, 2026.
Engagement
A typical post picks up 213 interactions against 4.5M followers, an engagement rate of 0.005%. Measured over 15 original posts, its engagement rate beats 35% of 3,899 tracked accounts of a similar size, which puts it in the middle of its size range rather than at either end. Posts are seen about 138K times each, and 0.154% of those impressions turn into an interaction. That is about 3.08% of the follower count, which is the gap between an audience on paper and an audience in a timeline. Posting runs at about 0.57 post a day over the last 30 days, with activity on roughly 53% of days. Most posts go out around 16:00 UTC, and Sunday is the busiest day of the week. Of the 15 posts sampled, 27% carry an image or video and 47% link out. The account's strongest tracked post pulled 4.0K interactions, about 19x its own typical post.

Compared with accounts its own size
Pat Gelsinger's engagement rate beats 35% of the tracked X accounts closest to it in follower count (3,899 accounts, accounts of similar size (decile 10 of 10)). A percentile is spread evenly by construction, so 50 really is the middle of that group and 90 really is its top tenth.
On engagement per impression rather than per follower it beats 14% of the same group. When those two numbers disagree, the gap is about how far its posts travel rather than how people react to them.
Where this sits in the catalog
At 0.005%, Pat Gelsinger sits above the 10th percentile of the 37,582 accounts in this comparison. That places it in the bottom 25% band, which runs below 0.012%.

Posting timing
This account posts most often around 16:00 UTC, and Sunday is its busiest day of the week. The bars below are the catalog-wide pattern, with this account's own busiest slot marked. They do not show how this account performs at each hour: we keep one aggregate per account, not one per hour, so that measurement does not exist in our data.

🧠 Today we introduce Un-0 from @unconvAI : the first large-scale generative model build on physics as a compute primitive. This represents a “hello world” moment for physics-based models. We use the inherent time-varying behavior of physical systems to do compute for us. The result is a new way to build a computer that can be VASTLY more power efficient. 🧵 https://t.co/zYU0ezXJUq

Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance. Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything. If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you. James 1:2-5

One of our favorite family traditions is a week of camp with our eight grandkids. No parents allowed! This year's theme was David: the shepherd, the friend, the warrior and the king. We made shepherd's staffs, friendship bracelets, slingshots and king's treasure chests. As for who got to play Goliath... let's just say he was quickly overwhelmed by eight little Davids armed with the slingshots they made at camp...

Enjoyed the conversation with @sk7037 and Gideon Lewis-Kraus yesterday. AI continues to move at an incredible pace, and unlocking its full potential will require innovation across the entire computing stack. Exciting discussion on the technologies that will shape what's next. https://t.co/zQ6Sr1WrUE

Moore's Law isn't ending, it's evolving. The next leap in AI won't come from smaller transistors alone. It'll come from rethinking memory, interconnects and system architecture, including using light to move data faster and more efficiently. 'Then he told them many things in parables, saying: “A farmer went out to sow his seed. As he was scattering the seed, some fell along the path, and the birds came and ate it up. Some fell on rocky places, where it did not have much soil. It sprang up quickly, because the soil was shallow. But when the sun came up, the plants were scorched, and they withered because they had no root. Other seed fell among thorns, which grew up and choked the plants. Still other seed fell on good soil, where it produced a crop—a hundred, sixty or thirty times what was sown. Whoever has ears, let them hear." Matthew 13:3-9

'Turn to me and have mercy on me, as you always do to those who love your name. Direct my footsteps according to your word; let no sin rule over me. Redeem me from human oppression, that I may obey your precepts. Make your face shine on your servant and teach me your decrees.' Psalm 119:132-135

- What is Pat Gelsinger's engagement rate on X?
- Pat Gelsinger (@PGelsinger) has an engagement rate of 0.005%, based on the median interactions across 15 original posts from the last 30 days against 4,476,397 followers. Replies, reposts and quote-posts of other people are excluded from that sample.
- Is that a good engagement rate?
- At 0.005%, Pat Gelsinger sits above the 10th percentile of the 37,582 accounts in this comparison. Those comparison accounts are all large ones, because our scanning cadence is weighted towards big accounts, so this is a ranking among peers of similar scale rather than a ranking across X.
- Does @PGelsinger have real engagement?
- Its engagement rate beats 35% of the tracked X accounts closest to it in follower count (3,899 accounts), which puts it in the middle of its size range group. Ranking inside a size band matters because engagement rate falls as accounts grow, so a raw rate would mostly re-measure the follower count. It is a starting point for a look at follower quality, not a verdict on it.
- When does @PGelsinger post?
- Most posts go out around 16:00 UTC, and Sunday is its busiest day, at roughly 0.57 posts per day across the measured window.
