A typical post picks up 948 interactions against 3.7M followers, an engagement rate of 0.026%. Measured over 60 original posts, its engagement rate beats 62% of 3,774 tracked accounts of a similar size, which puts it in the middle of its size range rather than at either end. Posts are seen about 89K times each, and 1.06% of those impressions turn into an interaction. That is about 2.44% of the follower count, which is the gap between an audience on paper and an audience in a timeline. Posting runs at about 3.2 posts a day over the last 30 days, with activity on roughly 73% of days. Most posts go out around 15:00 UTC, and Tuesday is the busiest day of the week. Of the 60 posts sampled, 43% carry an image or video and 43% link out. The account's strongest tracked post pulled 20K interactions, about 21x its own typical post.

Compared with accounts its own size

Chuck Schumer's engagement rate beats 62% of the tracked X accounts closest to it in follower count (3,774 accounts, accounts of similar size (decile 10 of 10)). A percentile is spread evenly by construction, so 50 really is the middle of that group and 90 really is its top tenth.

On engagement per impression rather than per follower it beats 58% of the same group. When those two numbers disagree, the gap is about how far its posts travel rather than how people react to them.

Where this sits in the catalog

At 0.026%, Chuck Schumer sits above the 25th percentile of the 36,654 accounts in this comparison. That places it in the below the median band, which runs 0.012% to 0.08%.

Posting timing

This account posts most often around 15:00 UTC, and Tuesday is its busiest day of the week. The bars below are the catalog-wide pattern, with this account's own busiest slot marked. They do not show how this account performs at each hour: we keep one aggregate per account, not one per hour, so that measurement does not exist in our data.

Earlier this evening, an individual disrupted Shabbat services at Central Synagogue in Manhattan. As synagogue security was escorting him out, he struck a member of the congregation, damaged synagogue property, and then spit at and headbutted a member of the security team. An NYPD sergeant working a paid detail at the synagogue immediately stepped in and took the individual into custody. I have spoken with the rabbi of the synagogue, and I’m relieved that no one was seriously injured. Those who were hurt were evaluated at the scene and are doing well. There are no known additional threats at this time, and additional NYPD resources have been deployed to the synagogue. The investigation is ongoing. I understand the sanctity of this space and its meaning for congregants. Central Synagogue is where I grew up. In joy and in sorrow, it has always been a place of comfort and peace. What happened there tonight is deeply painful. A place of worship should never be a crime scene.

Todd Blanche has spent his career enabling Trump's corruption and he has no intention of stopping. He's fine giving Trump a permission slip to commit tax fraud and resurrect his MAGA slush fund. Let’s be clear: This fund is strictly for Trump and his cronies. Where’s the reimbursement for the pain inflicted on the American people?

What is Chuck Schumer's engagement rate on X?
Chuck Schumer (@SenSchumer) has an engagement rate of 0.026%, based on the median interactions across 60 original posts from the last 30 days against 3,665,356 followers. Replies, reposts and quote-posts of other people are excluded from that sample.
Is that a good engagement rate?
At 0.026%, Chuck Schumer sits above the 25th percentile of the 36,654 accounts in this comparison. Those comparison accounts are all large ones, because our scanning cadence is weighted towards big accounts, so this is a ranking among peers of similar scale rather than a ranking across X.
Does @SenSchumer have real engagement?
Its engagement rate beats 62% of the tracked X accounts closest to it in follower count (3,774 accounts), which puts it in the middle of its size range group. Ranking inside a size band matters because engagement rate falls as accounts grow, so a raw rate would mostly re-measure the follower count. It is a starting point for a look at follower quality, not a verdict on it.
When does @SenSchumer post?
Most posts go out around 15:00 UTC, and Tuesday is its busiest day, at roughly 3.2 posts per day across the measured window.
