موقف غريب جدا حصل اثناء تقديم تشافي مدربا لمنتخب هولندا . المدير الرياضي للمنتخب الهولندي نايجل دي يونغ كشف أمام الصحافة، وتشافي يجلس بجانبه، أن المدرب الإسباني كان الخيار الثالث لتولي المهمة. الخيار الأول كان بيب غوارديولا، لكنه فضل الحصول على سنة راحة، ثم جاء آرني سلوت الذي فضل الاستمرار في تدريب الأندية، وبعد رفضهما تم التوجه إلى تشافي. البعض اعتبر التصريح محرجا وقليلا من الاحترام للمدرب الجديد، لكن رد تشافي كان رائعا: “ليس سيئا أن تأتي بعد غوارديولا وسلوت.. الخيار الثالث؟ على الأقل أنا على منصة التتويج. لا يزعجني ذلك، وأنا فخور جدا بوجودي هنا.” بصراحة، أعجبني الرد.. بدلا من الدخول في جدل حول كونه الخيار الثالث، تعامل معها بابتسامة ونظر إلى الفرصة نفسها. الآن أمام الخيار الثالث فرصة ليجعلهم لاحقا يتساءلون: لماذا لم يكن خيارنا الأول

خافي إسبارت.. اسم يستحق أن نتذكره جيدا. ظهر لأول مرة في الدوري، ولعب خارج مركزه كظهير أيسر، ومع ذلك كان أحد أفضل لاعبي برشلونة أمام إلتشي. سريع في التفكير، هادئ بالكرة، ذكي في تحركاته، وقوي في المواجهات، رغم أن إلتشي ركز هجماته على جهته. فاز بنسبة 100% من صراعاته الأرضية والهوائية في الشوط الأول، وقدم مباراة توحي بأنه لاعب يملك شخصية أكبر من عمره. لن نبالغ بعد مباراة واحدة، لكن البداية كانت أكثر من رائعة. برشلونة لم يحقق فقط انتصارا بخماسية.. بل ربما اكتشف لاعبا جديدا يمكن الوثوق به.
