The Andy Warhol Museum engagement report
@TheWarholMuseum - 725K followers on X
Measured over 18 original posts from a 30-day window, last computed on September 1, 2026.
Engagement
A typical post picks up 14 interactions against 725K followers, an engagement rate of 0.002%. Measured over 18 original posts, its engagement rate beats 15% of 3,882 tracked accounts of a similar size. That is a reason to look at how the audience behaves - reply depth, saves, whether the followers are recent - rather than a conclusion about it on its own. Posts are seen about 2.1K times each, and 0.678% of those impressions turn into an interaction. That is about 0.295% of the follower count, which is the gap between an audience on paper and an audience in a timeline. Posting runs at about 0.6 post a day over the last 30 days, with activity on roughly 57% of days. Most posts go out around 13:00 UTC, and Tuesday is the busiest day of the week. Of the 18 posts sampled, 89% carry an image or video and 78% link out. The account's strongest tracked post pulled 4.3K interactions, about 307x its own typical post.

Compared with accounts its own size
The Andy Warhol Museum's engagement rate beats 15% of the tracked X accounts closest to it in follower count (3,882 accounts, accounts of similar size (decile 8 of 10)). A percentile is spread evenly by construction, so 50 really is the middle of that group and 90 really is its top tenth.
On engagement per impression rather than per follower it beats 42% of the same group. When those two numbers disagree, the gap is about how far its posts travel rather than how people react to them.
Where this sits in the catalog
At 0.002%, The Andy Warhol Museum sits above the 10th percentile of the 37,582 accounts in this comparison. That places it in the bottom 25% band, which runs below 0.012%.

Posting timing
This account posts most often around 13:00 UTC, and Tuesday is its busiest day of the week. The bars below are the catalog-wide pattern, with this account's own busiest slot marked. They do not show how this account performs at each hour: we keep one aggregate per account, not one per hour, so that measurement does not exist in our data.

In 1955, Andy Warhol was still working as Andrew Warhola, a commercial illustrator in New York. Warhol's "Miss Dior" installation was part of Bonwit Teller’s tradition of using artists to turn store windows into avant-garde displays. Did you know one of Aretha Franklin’s most iconic album covers was created by Andy Warhol? In the 1970s, Warhol shifted his focus to portraiture, capturing celebrities and cultural icons through silk screening and bold color layering. Rather than creating traditional portraits, his work explores how people are perceived, not just how they look. With flat backgrounds, strong contrast, and a stylized aesthetic, Warhol transforms his subjects into larger than life figures shaped by fame and visual culture. This video was created by a Digital Content Creation Fellow from The Warhol Academy.

Happy Fathers Day! Andy Warhol's father, Andrej Warhola, was a provider dedicated to supporting his family. He focused his time and energy on work, whether his paid job as a traveling laborer or his responsibilities at home. Andrej became ill from a work-related incident and passed away when Andy was just 13 years old. Before he died, he asked his 17 year old son John to take over the financial responsibilities of the family. This included using the family’s savings of $1,500 to pay for Andy’s college tuition. After this directive, Andrej added: “You are going to be proud of Andy someday."

- What is The Andy Warhol Museum's engagement rate on X?
- The Andy Warhol Museum (@TheWarholMuseum) has an engagement rate of 0.002%, based on the median interactions across 18 original posts from the last 30 days against 725,449 followers. Replies, reposts and quote-posts of other people are excluded from that sample.
- Is that a good engagement rate?
- At 0.002%, The Andy Warhol Museum sits above the 10th percentile of the 37,582 accounts in this comparison. Those comparison accounts are all large ones, because our scanning cadence is weighted towards big accounts, so this is a ranking among peers of similar scale rather than a ranking across X.
- Does @TheWarholMuseum have real engagement?
- Its engagement rate beats 15% of the tracked X accounts closest to it in follower count (3,882 accounts), which puts it in the bottom quarter for its size group. Ranking inside a size band matters because engagement rate falls as accounts grow, so a raw rate would mostly re-measure the follower count. It is a starting point for a look at follower quality, not a verdict on it.
- When does @TheWarholMuseum post?
- Most posts go out around 13:00 UTC, and Tuesday is its busiest day, at roughly 0.6 posts per day across the measured window.
