A typical post picks up 1.6K interactions against 990K followers, an engagement rate of 0.166%. Measured over 46 original posts, its engagement rate beats 80% of 3,882 tracked accounts of a similar size. Comparing inside a size band matters here: engagement rate falls as accounts grow, so a raw rate would mostly just re-measure the follower count. Posts are seen about 75K times each, and 2.20% of those impressions turn into an interaction. That is about 7.56% of the follower count, which is the gap between an audience on paper and an audience in a timeline. Posting runs at about 3.5 posts a day over the last 30 days, with activity on roughly 53% of days. Most posts go out around 08:00 UTC, and Tuesday is the busiest day of the week. Of the 46 posts sampled, 72% carry an image or video and 13% link out. The account's strongest tracked post pulled 17K interactions, about 10x its own typical post.

Compared with accounts its own size

The Labour Party's engagement rate beats 80% of the tracked X accounts closest to it in follower count (3,882 accounts, accounts of similar size (decile 9 of 10)). A percentile is spread evenly by construction, so 50 really is the middle of that group and 90 really is its top tenth.

On engagement per impression rather than per follower it beats 72% of the same group. When those two numbers disagree, the gap is about how far its posts travel rather than how people react to them.

Where this sits in the catalog

At 0.166%, The Labour Party sits above the 50th percentile of the 37,582 accounts in this comparison. That places it in the above the median band, which runs 0.081% to 0.439%.

Posting timing

This account posts most often around 08:00 UTC, and Tuesday is its busiest day of the week. The bars below are the catalog-wide pattern, with this account's own busiest slot marked. They do not show how this account performs at each hour: we keep one aggregate per account, not one per hour, so that measurement does not exist in our data.

We’ve got too used to seeing people sleeping in doorways and outside stations. It isn’t normal. And I won’t accept it. Today, we’re announcing that everyone sleeping rough this winter will be offered a route off the streets if they need it. We did it during the pandemic. We can do it again. Let’s get everyone in for Christmas. Then let’s end rough sleeping for good.

I know I’ve got work to do to win the trust of Britain’s farmers. Today we’re putting £65m more into supporting farmers through this drought and preparing for the summers ahead. They’re on the frontline of a changing climate and they shouldn’t be left to face it alone. The ability to grow our own food is national security. I’ll treat it that way.

Awful to see homes and communities hit by fires across the country tonight as the heatwave continues. My thoughts are with everyone affected, particularly those who have been injured or forced from their homes, and with the firefighters who have been taken to hospital. I’m in touch with local leaders like @RichParkerLab in the West Midlands and will be speaking to emergency services on the ground as they continue their response. Our firefighters are working in incredibly difficult conditions and putting themselves at risk to keep others safe. A huge thank you to them and everyone supporting the effort tonight. Please stay safe and follow their advice.

This has been a relentless summer for British farmers. The gruelling heat has drained water supplies, crop yields and incomes. I understand the worry that comes with that, and I know farmers need more than the government's appreciation. It's why I went to a farm in Cornwall today to speak to some of them and @NFUtweets directly about our support package.

What is The Labour Party's engagement rate on X?
The Labour Party (@UKLabour) has an engagement rate of 0.166%, based on the median interactions across 46 original posts from the last 30 days against 989,558 followers. Replies, reposts and quote-posts of other people are excluded from that sample.
Is that a good engagement rate?
At 0.166%, The Labour Party sits above the 50th percentile of the 37,582 accounts in this comparison. Those comparison accounts are all large ones, because our scanning cadence is weighted towards big accounts, so this is a ranking among peers of similar scale rather than a ranking across X.
Does @UKLabour have real engagement?
Its engagement rate beats 80% of the tracked X accounts closest to it in follower count (3,882 accounts), which puts it in the top quarter for its size group. Ranking inside a size band matters because engagement rate falls as accounts grow, so a raw rate would mostly re-measure the follower count. It is a starting point for a look at follower quality, not a verdict on it.
When does @UKLabour post?
Most posts go out around 08:00 UTC, and Tuesday is its busiest day, at roughly 3.47 posts per day across the measured window.
