XXL Magazine engagement report
@XXL - 4.9M followers on X
Measured over 300 original posts from a 30-day window, last computed on August 31, 2026.
Engagement
A typical post picks up 354 interactions against 4.9M followers, an engagement rate of 0.007%. Measured over 300 original posts, its engagement rate beats 41% of 3,758 tracked accounts of a similar size, which puts it in the middle of its size range rather than at either end. Posts are seen about 68K times each, and 0.519% of those impressions turn into an interaction. That is about 1.40% of the follower count, which is the gap between an audience on paper and an audience in a timeline. Posting runs at about 11.5 posts a day over the last 30 days, with activity on roughly 63% of days. Most posts go out around 14:00 UTC, and Friday is the busiest day of the week. Of the 300 posts sampled, 91% carry an image or video, 5% are part of a thread and 13% link out. The account's strongest tracked post pulled 54K interactions, about 153x its own typical post. Recurring topics include #ikonpresents, #firstdayout, #tmc.

Compared with accounts its own size
XXL Magazine's engagement rate beats 41% of the tracked X accounts closest to it in follower count (3,758 accounts, accounts of similar size (decile 10 of 10)). A percentile is spread evenly by construction, so 50 really is the middle of that group and 90 really is its top tenth.
On engagement per impression rather than per follower it beats 40% of the same group. When those two numbers disagree, the gap is about how far its posts travel rather than how people react to them.
Where this sits in the catalog
At 0.007%, XXL Magazine sits above the 10th percentile of the 36,378 accounts in this comparison. That places it in the bottom 25% band, which runs below 0.012%.

This account posts most often around 14:00 UTC, and Friday is its busiest day of the week. The bars below are the catalog-wide pattern, with this account's own busiest slot marked. They do not show how this account performs at each hour: we keep one aggregate per account, not one per hour, so that measurement does not exist in our data.

Blueface nearly gets knocked out in a wild street brawl. On Thursday (Aug. 20), a new video surfaced showing an intense squabble involving Blueface that reportedly happened on Sunday night (Aug. 16) following Blueface and Nevaeh's baby shower in Los Angeles. In the new footage, a fight breaks out involving Blueface and several men. One of the men tussling with Blueface socks the rapper with a clean shot, sending him falling backward into the street. The haymaker does not deter Blue, who gets back up and continues to get it on as more people jump in. This fight happened prior to Chrisean Rock catching the fade with a woman outside the same event, which was captured on video and has been making the rounds on social media. 🎥: solfendi2/Instagram

Freddie Gibbs and Trae Tha Truth are bringing attention to the ongoing crisis in Gary, Ind., after severe storms left parts of the city dealing with widespread damage and prolonged power outages. Gibbs, a Gary native, spoke with MS NOW on the conditions in his hometown, saying the predominantly Black city has historically been overlooked and that it’s unfortunate it takes a crisis of this magnitude for Gary to receive national attention. Trae Tha Truth has been on the ground assisting residents directly through his Relief Gang organization. Along with distributing food, cleaning supplies and other necessities to families in need, Trae and his team have been helping remove fallen trees from homes and streets as the community continues to recover from the storm.

- What is XXL Magazine's engagement rate on X?
- XXL Magazine (@XXL) has an engagement rate of 0.007%, based on the median interactions across 300 original posts from the last 30 days against 4,867,152 followers. Replies, reposts and quote-posts of other people are excluded from that sample.
- Is that a good engagement rate?
- At 0.007%, XXL Magazine sits above the 10th percentile of the 36,378 accounts in this comparison. Those comparison accounts are all large ones, because our scanning cadence is weighted towards big accounts, so this is a ranking among peers of similar scale rather than a ranking across X.
- Does @XXL have real engagement?
- Its engagement rate beats 41% of the tracked X accounts closest to it in follower count (3,758 accounts), which puts it in the middle of its size range group. Ranking inside a size band matters because engagement rate falls as accounts grow, so a raw rate would mostly re-measure the follower count. It is a starting point for a look at follower quality, not a verdict on it.
- When does @XXL post?
- Most posts go out around 14:00 UTC, and Friday is its busiest day, at roughly 11.5 posts per day across the measured window.
