Early reading. We have captured 6 original posts for this account, below the 8 we require before treating a median as settled. The numbers above describe what we have seen so far, not a finished profile of the account.

A typical post picks up 68 interactions against 391K followers, an engagement rate of 0.017%. Posts are seen about 5.8K times each, and 1.18% of those impressions turn into an interaction. That is about 1.48% of the follower count, which is the gap between an audience on paper and an audience in a timeline. Posting runs at about 1.4 post a day over the last 30 days, though only 10% of days saw any activity at all. Most posts go out around 09:00 UTC, and Monday is the busiest day of the week. Of the 6 posts sampled, 83% carry an image or video. The account's strongest tracked post pulled 39K interactions, about 570x its own typical post. Only 6 original posts have been captured so far, fewer than the 8 posts we want behind a median before treating it as settled. Read the figures above as an early measurement of this account, not as a finished profile of it.

This account posts most often around 09:00 UTC, and Monday is its busiest day of the week. The bars below are the catalog-wide pattern, with this account's own busiest slot marked. They do not show how this account performs at each hour: we keep one aggregate per account, not one per hour, so that measurement does not exist in our data.

Let’s give credit where credit is due. Dr. Bayo Ojulari, @BBOjulari, is changing NNPCL in ways Nigerians should pay attention to. An organisation that was for years associated with opacity, bureaucracy and questions around accountability is gradually becoming more transparent, commercially driven and focused on profitability. This is not just about changing policies or making noise. It is about building systems, cutting waste, improving efficiency and making NNPCL operate like the commercially driven energy company it was meant to be. And the beautiful thing is that the results are beginning to show. Dr. Ojulari deserves commendation for bringing a different mindset to the leadership of NNPCL. Nigeria needs more leaders who understand that public institutions can be both transparent and profitable. This is how you build an institution that works. Well done, Dr. Bayo Ojulari.

Honestly, this is the kind of development that deserves more attention. The signing of the PSC and DSA Addenda by NNPC Ltd. and the OML 118 partners is a major step towards getting the Bonga Southwest/Aparo project to FID. We’re talking about a potential $15–21 billion investment, with peak production of 175,000 barrels of oil per day and 140 mmscfd of gas. Beyond the figures, it means more investment, more activity in the sector and more value for Nigeria. This is the kind of progress we should be talking about.

GOOD NEWS ALERT πŸ”” Troops of 12 Brigade, Nigerian Army, in a joint operation with the Nigeria Police Force, Department of State Services, local hunters and vigilantes, have rescued 21 kidnapped victims in Kogi State. The victims were rescued on 31 August 2026 from the Egume and Ochaja forest areas of Dekina Local Government Area, following reports of the abduction of road users along the Alloma–Ejule–Itobe road. Acting on credible intelligence, the security team conducted a coordinated search of the adjoining forests, leading to the rescue of eight males and 13 females. One male victim sustained a gunshot wound and was evacuated to a medical facility for treatment. The rescued victims are currently in the custody of the troops pending handover to the appropriate authorities. The Chief of Army Staff, Lieutenant General Waidi Shaibu, commended the troops and other security personnel for their courage and cooperation, while urging the public to remain vigilant and provide timely information to security agencies.
