@akinalabi - 402K followers on X
Measured over 28 original posts from a 30-day window, last computed on August 31, 2026.
Engagement
A typical post picks up 599 interactions against 402K followers, an engagement rate of 0.149%. Measured over 28 original posts, its engagement rate beats 60% of 3,829 tracked accounts of a similar size, which puts it in the middle of its size range rather than at either end. Posts are seen about 28K times each, and 2.16% of those impressions turn into an interaction. That is about 6.90% of the follower count, which is the gap between an audience on paper and an audience in a timeline. Posting runs at about 2.4 posts a day over the last 30 days, though only 43% of days saw any activity at all. Most posts go out around 17:00 UTC, and Tuesday is the busiest day of the week. Of the 28 posts sampled, 71% carry an image or video and 14% are part of a thread. The account's strongest tracked post pulled 5.5K interactions, about 9.2x its own typical post. Recurring topics include #3sc, #npfl27, #upshooting.

Compared with accounts its own size
Oloye Akin Alabi's engagement rate beats 60% of the tracked X accounts closest to it in follower count (3,829 accounts, accounts of similar size (decile 6 of 10)). A percentile is spread evenly by construction, so 50 really is the middle of that group and 90 really is its top tenth.
On engagement per impression rather than per follower it beats 65% of the same group. When those two numbers disagree, the gap is about how far its posts travel rather than how people react to them.
Where this sits in the catalog
At 0.149%, Oloye Akin Alabi sits above the 50th percentile of the 37,071 accounts in this comparison. That places it in the above the median band, which runs 0.08% to 0.435%.

Introducing My Football Club, Ibadan United FC. I’ve always loved the game of football. As you all know, I’m a die-hard fan of Shooting Stars, a club I have supported for over 40 years, right from when I was a kid. It’s a club I even sponsored for a few years at one point. However, I’ve always wanted to own my own football club. But I didn’t want to have a club in Ibadan that would play against Shooting Stars. About five years ago, my friend, @biolakazeem and I came up with the idea of establishing one in Lekki, Lagos, where I have a home and where the head office of my businesses is located. So, we formed Lekki United and competed in the NLO, the third tier of the Nigerian football league. After about two years, European scouts started noticing some of our players and began approaching us about collaborations which includes taking them abroad. That was when it dawned on me. My people in Egbeda/Ona-Ara Federal Constituency, my people in Ibadan, and indeed Oyo State in general, should be the ones benefiting from this opportunity. That was when I decided to rebrand the club and move it to Ibadan. The issue of playing against Shooting Stars should not be a problem. In fact, we can even help Shooting Stars. The club can serve as a pipeline for talent to the Oluyole Warriors and to clubs abroad. More importantly, it is a pathway to help talented footballers in my constituency and across Oyo State realise their dreams. So, here we are. Ibadan United Football Club is here. We play in the 3rd Tier of Nigerian Football, the NLO We will make history together. Akin Alabi Hon. Akin Alabi Egbeda/Ona-Ara Federal Constituency Ajia Olubadan of Ibadanland

I always say ‘send account’ even to people i have sent money to countless times. I realized that when I wanted to send money to a friend and i sent directly to his Kuda. Only for the money to enter and disappear because my guy was owing Kuda. Baba wan cry. He cried sef ni. Since that day, I don’t care how many times I have sent you money before. I will still say, ‘send account’

Did you all remember when Eukaria was introduced on the Honest Bunch podcast? She immediately cautioned the host to introduce her properly. This is the same energy Tony Elumelu showed and he’s very right to have done that. https://t.co/W7h2AXk4Sr

Akin Alabi is one of the most accessible reps on X. Which means he's also one of the most insulted. Not once have I seeen that man threaten anyone or had anyone arrested. Not a single scandalous case of intimidation. That's what mastering your ego looks like.

One of our constituents in Ona-Ara Local Government, Mr. Oyedapo Sunbo Ademola, whom we recommended for employment at the Nigeria Atomic Energy Commission (NAEC), recently returned from Russia where he completed his Master’s degree. He came to present his certificate and transcript to me at home following the Commission’s sponsorship of his studies. It is always fulfilling to see opportunities we facilitate translate into real growth and development for our constituents. I wish him greater success in his career. - What is Oloye Akin Alabi's engagement rate on X?
- Oloye Akin Alabi (@akinalabi) has an engagement rate of 0.149%, based on the median interactions across 28 original posts from the last 30 days against 402,438 followers. Replies, reposts and quote-posts of other people are excluded from that sample.
- Is that a good engagement rate?
- At 0.149%, Oloye Akin Alabi sits above the 50th percentile of the 37,071 accounts in this comparison. Those comparison accounts are all large ones, because our scanning cadence is weighted towards big accounts, so this is a ranking among peers of similar scale rather than a ranking across X.
- Does @akinalabi have real engagement?
- Its engagement rate beats 60% of the tracked X accounts closest to it in follower count (3,829 accounts), which puts it in the middle of its size range group. Ranking inside a size band matters because engagement rate falls as accounts grow, so a raw rate would mostly re-measure the follower count. It is a starting point for a look at follower quality, not a verdict on it.
- When does @akinalabi post?
- Most posts go out around 17:00 UTC, and Tuesday is its busiest day, at roughly 2.4 posts per day across the measured window.
