A typical post picks up 1.4K interactions against 796K followers, an engagement rate of 0.181%. Measured over 8 original posts, its engagement rate beats 80% of 3,791 tracked accounts of a similar size. Comparing inside a size band matters here: engagement rate falls as accounts grow, so a raw rate would mostly just re-measure the follower count. Posts are seen about 77K times each, and 1.86% of those impressions turn into an interaction. That is about 9.69% of the follower count, which is the gap between an audience on paper and an audience in a timeline. Posting runs at about 0.5 post a day over the last 30 days, though only 43% of days saw any activity at all. Most posts go out around 14:00 UTC, and Thursday is the busiest day of the week. Of the 8 posts sampled, 100% carry an image or video and 75% link out. The account's strongest tracked post pulled 6.0K interactions, about 4.2x its own typical post.

Measured over 8 original posts from a 30-day window, last computed on August 31, 2026.

Compared with accounts its own size

Blue Origin's engagement rate beats 80% of the tracked X accounts closest to it in follower count (3,791 accounts, accounts of similar size (decile 8 of 10)). A percentile is spread evenly by construction, so 50 really is the middle of that group and 90 really is its top tenth.

On engagement per impression rather than per follower it beats 69% of the same group. When those two numbers disagree, the gap is about how far its posts travel rather than how people react to them.

Where this sits in the catalog

At 0.181%, Blue Origin sits above the 50th percentile of the 36,759 accounts in this comparison. That places it in the above the median band, which runs 0.08% to 0.434%.

This account posts most often around 14:00 UTC, and Thursday is its busiest day of the week. The bars below are the catalog-wide pattern, with this account's own busiest slot marked. They do not show how this account performs at each hour: we keep one aggregate per account, not one per hour, so that measurement does not exist in our data.

Continuous sunlight is scarce on the Moon unless you know where to look. 🌑 The lunar poles contain "peaks of eternal light," areas bathed in near-continuous sunlight. Power Tower mounts on Blue Moon MK1's top deck and extends solar arrays to 26 meters total height to capture that energy and deliver sustained power for Moon Base operations. Check out this video of Power Tower during a successful deployment in an analog lunar environment. The infrastructure era of lunar exploration starts now.

We are deeply saddened by the passing of Wally Funk. Wally was a pioneer in every sense of the word. In her 20s, she was the first female civilian flight instructor at a U.S. military base. She became the youngest of the Mercury 13, outperforming nearly every test put in front of her, and ultimately, the only one of the thirteen to have ever reached space. On NS-16, sixty years later, Wally made history as the oldest astronaut at the time and remains the oldest woman to ever fly to space. It was a moment six decades in the making. We were humbled to be part of her journey. Her story will continue to inspire generations of future explorers. Fly Wally, Fly. 🚀

Endurance testing continues! We completed a shock test last week, introducing our MK1 lunar lander to the environment generated when it separates from New Glenn. 21 accelerometers were positioned around the vehicle to characterize the shock response. All components exceeded survivability requirements during the test. Next up: Full vehicle separation testing.

Building a Moon Base requires orbital infrastructure that can do it all and scale as needs grow. That's where Blue Ring comes in. A single vehicle provides high-speed communications relay, precise Position, Navigation, and Timing, high-resolution orbital imagery, space situational awareness, and payload delivery to multiple cislunar orbits. Launch vehicle agnostic, with 3,000 to 5,000 m/s of Delta-V for repositioning, and radiation tolerance, redundancy, and xenon mission kits for 10+ years of mission ops, Blue Ring is built for flexibility today and long-term reliability. https://t.co/66EDdlPvz7

Across our facilities, the American flag is more than a symbol on the wall; it’s a reminder that what we’re building is part of America’s history and future. We're proud to support American leadership in space, honor 250 years of the American pioneering spirit, and be part of the legacy.

Our thrusters team just wrapped another successful hotfire test campaign for BT-7, a fully Blue Origin-developed thruster, from valves to thrust chamber, capable of pulsed and long-duration operation for vehicle attitude control and orbital maneuvering. These latest tests advanced performance across 80lbf & 120lbf configurations, as BT-7 matures into our first in-house hypergolic bipropellant thruster, with applications on the Artemis III mission and future lunar vehicles.

Our team at Honeybee Robotics, a Blue Origin company, recently passed Critical Design Review for our lunar rover flying on a @FireflySpace Blue Ghost mission to the Moon’s Gruithuisen Domes in 2028. This marks a major milestone on the path to flight build. Next up: our mobility and navigation test vehicle will continue putting miles on the lunar analog facility floor as we prepare for flight. What is Blue Origin's engagement rate on X?
Blue Origin (@blueorigin) has an engagement rate of 0.181%, based on the median interactions across 8 original posts from the last 30 days against 796,476 followers. Replies, reposts and quote-posts of other people are excluded from that sample.
Is that a good engagement rate?
At 0.181%, Blue Origin sits above the 50th percentile of the 36,759 accounts in this comparison. Those comparison accounts are all large ones, because our scanning cadence is weighted towards big accounts, so this is a ranking among peers of similar scale rather than a ranking across X.
Does @blueorigin have real engagement?
Its engagement rate beats 80% of the tracked X accounts closest to it in follower count (3,791 accounts), which puts it in the top quarter for its size group. Ranking inside a size band matters because engagement rate falls as accounts grow, so a raw rate would mostly re-measure the follower count. It is a starting point for a look at follower quality, not a verdict on it.
When does @blueorigin post?
Most posts go out around 14:00 UTC, and Thursday is its busiest day, at roughly 0.5 posts per day across the measured window.
