Como Mendonça foi possível? Eduardo Guimarães Em Janeiro deste ano, pressões contra o ministro Dias Toffoli acabaram fazendo com que ele abrisse mão da relatoria do caso Master, que acabou entregue a André Mendonça. Toffoli era acusado de ter estabelecido uma “guerra contra a PF” por ter determinado que as provas da investigação ficassem em posse da Procuradoria Geral da República. Pesou também, para a perda de relatoria, o fato de que um fundo ligado ao Master tivesse adquirido, no ano anterior, cotas de um empreendimento hoteleiro da família Toffoli. Mendonça, porém, já mostrou, de saída, o que começaria a fazer a partir de 16 de dezembro de 2021, quando assumiu a cadeira no STF na condição de “10% de Jair Bolsonaro”. Sua primeira decisão foi alijar o comando da PF das investigações do caso Master. O ministro “Terrivelmente Evangélico” nunca decepcionou (o bolsonarismo). TODAS as suas decisões e votos no Supremo, desde então, foram favoráveis ao seu patrono, Jair Bolsonaro, ou a aliados e parentes dele. T-O-D-A-S. Mas nada jamais se comparou ao que ele passaria a fazer após ser incensado pela mídia, pelas direitas e, pasmem, por amplos setores da esquerda. Ele seria “isento e ponderado”, segundo a lenda. O que se seguiu foi um fenômeno absolutamente inexplicável. A mídia, as direitas e a esquerda, sabe-se lá por que, ajudaram-no a acumular as relatorias dos casos Master e INSS e, depois a relatoria dos casos Dark Horse e “Lulinha”. Como deveria ser claro para qualquer um que entendesse minimamente de política e que não tivesse interesse nas manipulações terrivelmente revoltantes do ministro terrivelmente cara-de-pau, ele engavetou Master, INSS e Dark Horse e, desde então, desencadeou uma avalanche de vazamentos dos inquéritos vazios que instaurou contra o filho do presidente da República. Como foi possível alguém tão comprometido com o pior governante que o Brasil já teve ser alçado à posição de controle das investigações mais importantes da República? Ou melhor: como foi possível que TODOS se enganassem tanto sobre Mendonça e ignorassem apelos desesperados de uns poucos (como este que escreve) para abrirem os olhos?
