A typical post picks up 7 interactions against 591K followers, an engagement rate of 0.001%. Measured over 47 original posts, its engagement rate beats 11% of 3,739 tracked accounts of a similar size. That is a reason to look at how the audience behaves - reply depth, saves, whether the followers are recent - rather than a conclusion about it on its own. Posts are seen about 3.7K times each, and 0.187% of those impressions turn into an interaction. That is about 0.632% of the follower count, which is the gap between an audience on paper and an audience in a timeline. Posting runs at about 2.1 posts a day over the last 30 days, with activity on roughly 70% of days. Most posts go out around 13:00 UTC, and Saturday is the busiest day of the week. Of the 47 posts sampled, 74% carry an image or video, 15% are part of a thread and 17% link out. The account's strongest tracked post pulled 9.9K interactions, about 1408x its own typical post. Recurring topics include #pcgames, #steam, #top50.

Compared with accounts its own size

Joel Comm's engagement rate beats 11% of the tracked X accounts closest to it in follower count (3,739 accounts, accounts of similar size (decile 8 of 10)). A percentile is spread evenly by construction, so 50 really is the middle of that group and 90 really is its top tenth.

On engagement per impression rather than per follower it beats 15% of the same group. When those two numbers disagree, the gap is about how far its posts travel rather than how people react to them.

Where this sits in the catalog

At 0.001%, Joel Comm sits below the 10th percentile of the 36,521 accounts in this comparison. That places it in the bottom 25% band, which runs below 0.012%.

This account posts most often around 13:00 UTC, and Saturday is its busiest day of the week. The bars below are the catalog-wide pattern, with this account's own busiest slot marked. They do not show how this account performs at each hour: we keep one aggregate per account, not one per hour, so that measurement does not exist in our data.

These folks have no idea how to run a business, have never run a business, and — wait for it — they put out an RFP to let entrepreneurs run their state sponsored grocery stores So… the government is going to pay companies to discount groceries, which have a 1-2% profit margin Amazing!!! 🍿 Can’t wait to see them use some insane DEI criteria to select the RFP winners and this entire experiment to devolve into chaos! COSTCO ALREADY HAS ZERO PROFIT MARGIN GROCERIES — YOU MIGHT AS WELL JUST NEGOTIATE BUYING ACCESS TO THEIR SELECTION FOR DISADVANTAGED NEW YORKERS!!! https://t.co/vSnzctp57Y

I watched the entire @RealCandaceO @paleochristcon debate. I’m stunned at the number of people who don’t understand how a debate is judged. The central dispute was whether the evidence supports the allegation that Tyler Robinson killed Charlie Kirk or whether Robinson was framed as a “patsy.” Candace gave literally NO evidence to substantiate her claims. None. Zero. Based on this alone, Andrew won. But people are swayed by gotcha moments. They think that because Andrew wasn’t able to list the seven counts that he somehow lost. That’s a completely irrelevant point. He’s not even the most likable person, which he admitted. But a debate isn’t a popularity contest. At least not for those paying attention to the actual arguments. We have not people how to think critically. Too many of y’all are swayed by emotion and don’t use your heads. I didn’t have a dog in the hunt and just wanted to hear the evidence. It was disappointing. Candace may end up being correct, but based on the claims which formed the basis for the debate, Andrew won. And that’s not even up for debate.

I'm an AI keynote speaker. Not a futurist. A translator. My job is standing in front of smart, non-technical people and making AI make sense without the hype and without the jargon. This is what it looks like from the stage. #AIKeynoteSpeaker https://t.co/0o0xPHxSEx

Everyone is excited about BTC trading up today. My prediction is this. We get good news via clarity act. It will appear bullish and everything will move up... briefly. Then, the rug pull happens. Major crash. Everyone is left scratching their heads as retail gets hammered... again. Bottom will be in before end of year. Sometime in October / November. People will be chanting "crypto is dead". And then up we go. New ATH in 2029. Go ahead and bookmark.

This may be the coolest thing I have built with AI so far. Set the year and talk to AI about anything gated to that year. And then see if you can figure out how to mess with the AI. Super fun... https://t.co/C54CECisME https://t.co/V1fvPT9sBs

AI is making me more productive then I have been in years. AI is providing a channel for my creativity in ways I never imagined. AI has me more excited about the possibilities of what I can do then ever before.

People complaining about AI slop are just getting their feelings hurt because AI is still better at creating art, making music and writing articles then the average creator. They act like "slop" is something new. Have you looked at post-modern architecture? Void of humanity. Take a look at Obama's Presidential Library if you need an example. How about writing? Twilight, anyone? Fifty Shades of Grey? Even the popular stuff is crap. Don't get me started on modern music. Taylor Swift is the very definition of mediocrity and slop. Modern Art? Can't tell you how many museum pieces I have seen that have no business being on a museum wall.. or any wall, for that matter. Now LinkedIn has created a "seems like AI slop" button. It's stupid and won't last long. AI will continue to get better and the ability to tell the difference will become more difficult. AI is here to stay. Smart creators will use it as a tool to tell stories, create art, make music and be empowered to do things they couldn't do previously. It doesn't dismiss those with natural talent and abilities, but it sure does open up opportunity for others to play.

What is Joel Comm's engagement rate on X?
Joel Comm (@joelcomm) has an engagement rate of 0.001%, based on the median interactions across 47 original posts from the last 30 days against 591,190 followers. Replies, reposts and quote-posts of other people are excluded from that sample.
Is that a good engagement rate?
At 0.001%, Joel Comm sits below the 10th percentile of the 36,521 accounts in this comparison. Those comparison accounts are all large ones, because our scanning cadence is weighted towards big accounts, so this is a ranking among peers of similar scale rather than a ranking across X.
Does @joelcomm have real engagement?
Its engagement rate beats 11% of the tracked X accounts closest to it in follower count (3,739 accounts), which puts it in the bottom quarter for its size group. Ranking inside a size band matters because engagement rate falls as accounts grow, so a raw rate would mostly re-measure the follower count. It is a starting point for a look at follower quality, not a verdict on it.
When does @joelcomm post?
Most posts go out around 13:00 UTC, and Saturday is its busiest day, at roughly 2.07 posts per day across the measured window.
