Hoy me reuní telematicamente con @JorgeGlas, lo encontré extremadamente debilitado, angustiado y con una resignación que golpea. Lo que está viviendo no es una detención, es un escenario de deterioro acelerado, incompatible con la vida y con cualquier estándar mínimo de humanidad. • No tiene agua para beber. Lo repitió varias veces, casi en un susurro “No tengo agua.” Por las noches no hay agua ni para el inodoro. La deshidratación ya es evidente. • Está encerrado 24 horas al día. Sin patio. Sin caminar. Sin luz del sol. Su cuerpo y su mente están siendo sometidos a un encierro total. • La celda no tiene luz natural. Hay una luz blanca encendida todo el día y toda la noche, que le impide dormir y lo mantiene desorientado. • El colchón está envuelto en plástico. Duerme sobre un material caliente y antihigiénico. No tiene sábanas, almohada ni toalla. • Lleva ocho días con la misma ropa. No puede cambiarla ni lavarla. Vive en su propia ropa sucia. • Está pasando hambre. No existe economato y no autorizan nada. Hasta ayer comían con las manos, hoy recibió una cuchara de plástico. • Comparte una celda para cuatro con dos personas más, sin privacidad y en condiciones insalubres. • Inactividad forzada. No puede moverse ni realizar ninguna actividad física mínima. Su cuerpo se está apagando. • No hay policlínico. No hay médico de planta. No hay enfermería. No hay ambulancia. Cuando se enferme, y ya lo está, no hay a quién acudir. • La medicación se está terminando y no hay reposición. Le entregan lo que “queda”, sin control ni registro. • Está siendo sometido a polifarmacia extrema. Le cambian y combinan medicamentos sin criterio, sin su historia clínica, sin evaluación, sin supervisión. Para una persona con múltiples enfermedades preexistentes, esto es una bomba de tiempo, riesgo cardíaco, riesgo neurológico, riesgo metabólico. En un momento, con la voz quebrada, dijo: “Estaba mejor en La Roca.” Nada explica mejor la crueldad de sus condiciones actuales que esa frase. Y añadió algo aún más grave: “Estoy peor ahora… incluso después de la sentencia de la @CorteIDH” Eso, jurídicamente, significa incumplimiento deliberado de una decisión internacional. Humanamente, significa que lo están castigando por resistir. Todo lo que describo configura trato cruel, inhumano y degradante, agravado por la ausencia total de atención médica, la polifarmacia, sus enfermedades de base, la falta de agua potable, el encierro absoluto y la luz permanente. Afirmo con absoluta responsabilidad profesional, Jorge está en riesgo vital inmediato. Debe ser hospitalizado de forma urgente. Histórico. Hoy la UF cruzó los $40.000 por primera vez. Impacto directo en bolsillo de chilenos: créditos, arriendos, planes de salud, educación, etc. Eso se suma al alza combustibles y alimentos. La clase política y el empresariado han bloqueado el debate sobre limitar el uso abusivo de la UF. Pero el daño sobre chilenos sigue ocurriendo y aumenta.
