A typical post picks up 207 interactions against 489K followers, an engagement rate of 0.042%. Measured over 9 original posts, its engagement rate beats 53% of 3,882 tracked accounts of a similar size, which puts it in the middle of its size range rather than at either end. Posts are seen about 39K times each, and 0.537% of those impressions turn into an interaction. That is about 7.88% of the follower count, which is the gap between an audience on paper and an audience in a timeline. Posting runs at about 0.73 post a day over the last 30 days, though only 43% of days saw any activity at all. Most posts go out around 20:00 UTC, and Friday is the busiest day of the week. Of the 9 posts sampled, 33% carry an image or video and 33% link out. The account's strongest tracked post pulled 24K interactions, about 117x its own typical post.

Compared with accounts its own size

Mike Novogratz's engagement rate beats 53% of the tracked X accounts closest to it in follower count (3,882 accounts, accounts of similar size (decile 7 of 10)). A percentile is spread evenly by construction, so 50 really is the middle of that group and 90 really is its top tenth.

On engagement per impression rather than per follower it beats 35% of the same group. When those two numbers disagree, the gap is about how far its posts travel rather than how people react to them.

Where this sits in the catalog

At 0.042%, Mike Novogratz sits above the 25th percentile of the 37,582 accounts in this comparison. That places it in the below the median band, which runs 0.012% to 0.081%.

This account posts most often around 20:00 UTC, and Friday is its busiest day of the week. The bars below are the catalog-wide pattern, with this account's own busiest slot marked. They do not show how this account performs at each hour: we keep one aggregate per account, not one per hour, so that measurement does not exist in our data.

🚨🗣️ Wayne Rooney on Balogun getting his suspension lifted: "I got a three-game ban before Euro 2012 so I was due to miss the three group games and basically got told if I go over to Switzerland and do a training session with a bunch of kids, the third game gets taken off. Which I didn't agree with but I agreed to do it because I didn't want the three-game ban but I thought that was wrong." "But for this to be suspended? They either take the red card away, which I think was probably the right decision and then he can play." "But to suspend it for a year, I think, is an absolute disgrace and Infantino should be ashamed of this because I think the sportsmanship of this game is in question here." "If I were the USA's opponent, I'd be absolutely fuming. I think it's wrong in every way. I think it's an absolute disgrace."

Here’s my negatively charged USMNT post-mortem: I’ve seen the USMNT crash out of many tournaments but this was the most painful and it will take longer to get over. The 1st and 3rd goals simply cannot happen at this level. Those mistakes transcend any technical or tactical analysis. For that to happen in the biggest game of these players’ lives… Of course I can say this in hindsight, but all the noise around the game was UNHELPFUL. I think Balo’s red card was the wrong decision but the momentum behind the team was still at an all time high. The administration getting involved over something with little material impact on the pitch has turned out to be a disaster, a common occurrence when non-soccer people get involved in soccer. That created the momentum behind a Belgium that were completely out of sync up until that point. The sheer amount of technical errors in that game on the ball was bizarre, it’s impossible to know the cause but I assume something psychological. Basic actions you’d expect players to execute 9/10 times. My cynical view is that performance undid a lot of the good about the tournament thus far. It was diabolically bad. I will be ruminating about this for a while.

Kamala Harris shouldn’t run for President. She was back of the pack in 2020 and was wiped out in 2024. The Dems need a strong center left candidate to not only win but to heal the country. Focus on what matters: affordability, wealth gap, rational and pro growth immigration, and AI. There are at least 6 strong candidates that meet this criteria! Gonna be a busy Q4 and Q1 2027

The Clarity Act is essential for America’s future. We are down to “word smithing” around an ethics clause. US citizens don’t want politicians financially getting a better ‘edge’ than the common citizen has. Both Republicans and Democrats know this. They both see the polls. I am calling on both sides to read the room. This is going to mean that the Republican senators are going to have to push harder with the White House and that Dem senators need to realize they are not going to solve all corruption issues govt wide in a digital assets bill. Prove to us that, like with housing, congress can still function for the long term good of the American people.

The CLARITY Act was not added to the Senate schedule for today because the White House has not yet responded to the ethics counterproposal sent by Senators @SenThomTillis and @SenRubenGallego last Thursday. The White House needs to respond swiftly in order to meet the August 7 deadline before summer recess. Pass the crypto bill NOW!!

Reading these numbers

What is Mike Novogratz's engagement rate on X?
Mike Novogratz (@novogratz) has an engagement rate of 0.042%, based on the median interactions across 9 original posts from the last 30 days against 489,456 followers. Replies, reposts and quote-posts of other people are excluded from that sample.
Is that a good engagement rate?
At 0.042%, Mike Novogratz sits above the 25th percentile of the 37,582 accounts in this comparison. Those comparison accounts are all large ones, because our scanning cadence is weighted towards big accounts, so this is a ranking among peers of similar scale rather than a ranking across X.
Does @novogratz have real engagement?
Its engagement rate beats 53% of the tracked X accounts closest to it in follower count (3,882 accounts), which puts it in the middle of its size range group. Ranking inside a size band matters because engagement rate falls as accounts grow, so a raw rate would mostly re-measure the follower count. It is a starting point for a look at follower quality, not a verdict on it.
When does @novogratz post?
Most posts go out around 20:00 UTC, and Friday is its busiest day, at roughly 0.73 posts per day across the measured window.
