Prashant Bhushan engagement report
@pbhushan1 - 2.5M followers on X
Measured over 95 original posts from a 30-day window, last computed on August 30, 2026.
Engagement
A typical post picks up 3.4K interactions against 2.5M followers, an engagement rate of 0.137%. Measured over 95 original posts, its engagement rate beats 88% of 3,774 tracked accounts of a similar size. Comparing inside a size band matters here: engagement rate falls as accounts grow, so a raw rate would mostly just re-measure the follower count. Posts are seen about 115K times each, and 2.97% of those impressions turn into an interaction. That is about 4.62% of the follower count, which is the gap between an audience on paper and an audience in a timeline. Posting runs at about 9 posts a day over the last 30 days, with activity on roughly 57% of days. Most posts go out around 06:00 UTC, and Thursday is the busiest day of the week. Of the 95 posts sampled, 67% carry an image or video and 24% link out. The account's strongest tracked post pulled 42K interactions, about 12x its own typical post. Recurring topics include #breaking, #protestalert, #schoolthikkaro.

Compared with accounts its own size
Prashant Bhushan's engagement rate beats 88% of the tracked X accounts closest to it in follower count (3,774 accounts, accounts of similar size (decile 10 of 10)). A percentile is spread evenly by construction, so 50 really is the middle of that group and 90 really is its top tenth.
On engagement per impression rather than per follower it beats 86% of the same group. When those two numbers disagree, the gap is about how far its posts travel rather than how people react to them.
Where this sits in the catalog
At 0.137%, Prashant Bhushan sits above the 50th percentile of the 36,654 accounts in this comparison. That places it in the above the median band, which runs 0.08% to 0.433%.

Getting paid only ₹2,000 a month for cooking, washing utensils & cleaning the school. The govt school staff are being exploited. They deserve better pay. https://t.co/THlUBWQigb

What the F is happening in Rajasthan????? Goons of BJP are after the blood of Ashutosh and other CJP volunteers. How can @PoliceRajasthan allow this kind of attack? https://t.co/F3kdPwS4kD

Abdul went to inspect the govt school in Bengal where he once studied. He lost his father after they were attacked by goons (allegedly from BJP) for speaking up about the poor condition of govt schools. It makes my blood boil that people are being murdered simply for demanding better schools. CJP stands firmly with Abdul and his family. We demand the immediate arrest of those responsible for his father’s death. A CJP team will visit West Bengal and ensure that Abdul and his family get justice. And to the hatemongers who think they can silence us through violence: we are not going to back off. Attack our members, threaten us, try to intimidate us, we will only fight harder. We will not be silenced. We will not be intimidated. We will keep fighting for better schools.

An Indian engineer in Bengaluru got tired of potholes destroying his car. So he built an app with Codex that detects them, finds who is responsible, and files a complaint. Here is how it works. He installed a dashcam with GPS and an accelerometer. The app records everything while he drives. A vision model classifies every pothole by size. Small, medium, large. But here is the clever part. Most Indian roads are under warranty. The contractor who built them is legally responsible for fixing potholes for free. His app searches through 2,900 government contracts, finds the exact tender number, identifies the officer responsible, attaches the photo and geolocation, and generates a ready-to-file complaint. One drive to work. 12 potholes detected. 12 complaints ready. -- vc: @gkcs_

All those working in the education department, including Ministers, officials, principals and teachers, should enrol their own children in govt schools. Then watch how quickly our govt schools magically improve. Why do all of them enrol their kids in private schools? Do they not trust their own work?

On my father’s birthday today, I think he would have been especially proud of my mother for having written her story with so much heart and honesty. For me, it’s one of the greatest love stories of our time. I feel privileged to have witnessed it and I am happy that through her book, everyone will get to know my mother for what she truly is - a brave, loyal, compassionate woman, who is also tough as nails and great fun when she wants to be. A woman whose life has been a testament to her love for her husband and her country. Love you, ma and so, so proud of you. https://t.co/SQWtXhXrS9

All levels of disgust have been crossed today.

- What is Prashant Bhushan's engagement rate on X?
- Prashant Bhushan (@pbhushan1) has an engagement rate of 0.137%, based on the median interactions across 95 original posts from the last 30 days against 2,479,370 followers. Replies, reposts and quote-posts of other people are excluded from that sample.
- Is that a good engagement rate?
- At 0.137%, Prashant Bhushan sits above the 50th percentile of the 36,654 accounts in this comparison. Those comparison accounts are all large ones, because our scanning cadence is weighted towards big accounts, so this is a ranking among peers of similar scale rather than a ranking across X.
- Does @pbhushan1 have real engagement?
- Its engagement rate beats 88% of the tracked X accounts closest to it in follower count (3,774 accounts), which puts it in the top quarter for its size group. Ranking inside a size band matters because engagement rate falls as accounts grow, so a raw rate would mostly re-measure the follower count. It is a starting point for a look at follower quality, not a verdict on it.
- When does @pbhushan1 post?
- Most posts go out around 06:00 UTC, and Thursday is its busiest day, at roughly 9.03 posts per day across the measured window.
