Compared with accounts its own size
Pranav Mahajan's engagement rate beats 67% of the tracked X accounts closest to it in follower count (3,882 accounts, accounts of similar size (decile 4 of 10)). A percentile is spread evenly by construction, so 50 really is the middle of that group and 90 really is its top tenth.
On engagement per impression rather than per follower it beats 74% of the same group. When those two numbers disagree, the gap is about how far its posts travel rather than how people react to them.

At 0.231%, Pranav Mahajan sits above the 50th percentile of the 37,701 accounts in this comparison. That places it in the above the median band, which runs 0.081% to 0.439%.

This is much bigger than it appears. There are still some honest officers who are working day in and day out to ensure that the entire country and its every citizen is safe and secure. Such news should find more space in our public discussions and there should be a more feeling of gratitude towards these unsung heroes. Jai Hind 🇮🇳

Mere removal of the ad by GIVA is not sufficient. In fact, this could well be a textbook execution of a mischievous strategy increasingly being used by brands today: • Create an insensitive ad. • Let the controversy build and maximise the attention. • Once it reaches its peak, withdraw the ad and suddenly try to play the saint. This is precisely why simply withdrawing the advertisement should not be the end of the matter. GIVA must issue an unconditional apology, not only as a company, but the major stakeholders involved in creating and promoting the advertisement should also take responsibility. If they cannot even acknowledge that they hurt the sentiments of a large section of people, they should not expect those very people to continue buying their products. Publicity earned through controversy should not be rewarded merely because the brand eventually withdraws the content. #ChanakyaInMyDreams

Anyone who tries to make a mockery of our culture, rituals and festivals deserves to face the consequences. And the most effective way to do that is to boycott them and cut off the financial streams that fund their luxuries and indulgences. These creatures understand only one language: money. Cut off their revenue, and they will learn the lesson. #ChanakyaInMyDreams

There has been an uproar on what Kirti Sanon wore for an advertisement which was showing celebration of Rakhi - a Hindu festival celebrating the bond between brothers and sisters. She has been accused of not showing cultural sensitivity towards the festival because her outfit wasn’t “appropriate “. Parallels have been drawn between if she would have done the same for an Islamic festival. Here’s a fundamental difference- Hinduism doesn’t prescribe a dress code - what we wear is a lot to do with regional culture, local customs etc. While Islam strictly defines a dress code. By that logic, Hinduism gives one freedom to dress according to what they feel is right. Altering one’s clothing choices is a classic decision women often make curbing their own self expression. There is disproportional scrutiny of what women wear!! And it’s a pity that the ad had to be pulled down because she wasn’t dressed right! It’s the male gaze that needs fixing.

- What is Pranav Mahajan's engagement rate on X?
- Pranav Mahajan (@pranavmahajan) has an engagement rate of 0.231%, based on the median interactions across 15 original posts from the last 30 days against 91,366 followers. Replies, reposts and quote-posts of other people are excluded from that sample.
- Is that a good engagement rate?
- At 0.231%, Pranav Mahajan sits above the 50th percentile of the 37,701 accounts in this comparison. Those comparison accounts are all large ones, because our scanning cadence is weighted towards big accounts, so this is a ranking among peers of similar scale rather than a ranking across X.
- Does @pranavmahajan have real engagement?
- Its engagement rate beats 67% of the tracked X accounts closest to it in follower count (3,882 accounts), which puts it in the middle of its size range group. Ranking inside a size band matters because engagement rate falls as accounts grow, so a raw rate would mostly re-measure the follower count. It is a starting point for a look at follower quality, not a verdict on it.
- When does @pranavmahajan post?
- Most posts go out around 16:00 UTC, and Wednesday is its busiest day, at roughly 1.3 posts per day across the measured window.
