Baloo, un cane Bovaro del Bernese di 50 chili non riusciva più a camminare e per tornare all’auto, parcheggiata a valle, gli escursionisti hanno dovuto chiedere aiuto. È accaduto in Liguria, al Pian delle Figge, dove vigili del fuoco e soccorso alpino hanno raggiunto Baloo e i suoi proprietari di notte e lo hanno trasportato su una speciale barella. I soccorritori hanno camminato sui sentieri al buio per circa tre ore, due delle quali con i 50 chili del cane in spalla. Una semplice pagaiata sulle tavole da SUP si è trasformata in una storia a lieto fine. È successo a Buggerru, in Sardegna, dove Lorenzo Castagna, in escursione nei pressi della spiaggia di San Nicolò si è accorto di un involucro di plastica in mezzo al mare. "Mi sono avvicinato per recuperare il rifiuto e mi sono trovato davanti la tartaruga", racconta. "Le sue pinne erano rimaste impigliate nei fili del sacco. L’ho tirata su sulla tavola e ho cominciato a liberarla. Poi sono arrivati in soccorso dei ragazzi a bordo di un gommone che mi hanno fornito un paio di forbici. Appena liberata la tartaruga è tornata subito a nuotare in mare".
