A typical post picks up 2.6K interactions against 529K followers, an engagement rate of 0.491%. Measured over 22 original posts, its engagement rate beats 90% of 3,862 tracked accounts of a similar size. Comparing inside a size band matters here: engagement rate falls as accounts grow, so a raw rate would mostly just re-measure the follower count. Posts are seen about 83K times each, and 3.15% of those impressions turn into an interaction. That is about 15.6% of the follower count, which is the gap between an audience on paper and an audience in a timeline. Posting runs at about 2.7 posts a day over the last 30 days, with activity on roughly 63% of days. Most posts go out around 05:00 UTC, and Saturday is the busiest day of the week. Of the 22 posts sampled, 68% carry an image or video, 9% are part of a thread and 14% link out. The account's strongest tracked post pulled 34K interactions, about 13x its own typical post.

Compared with accounts its own size

Rahul Roushan's engagement rate beats 90% of the tracked X accounts closest to it in follower count (3,862 accounts, accounts of similar size (decile 7 of 10)). A percentile is spread evenly by construction, so 50 really is the middle of that group and 90 really is its top tenth.

On engagement per impression rather than per follower it beats 82% of the same group. When those two numbers disagree, the gap is about how far its posts travel rather than how people react to them.

Where this sits in the catalog

At 0.491%, Rahul Roushan sits above the 75th percentile of the 37,459 accounts in this comparison. That places it in the top 25% band, which runs 0.438% to 2.10%.

They do not show how this account performs at each hour: we keep one aggregate per account, not one per hour, so that measurement does not exist in our data.

I really appreciate Hon'ble Prime Minister's Promise about Free online Coaching for all needy students. I have always believed that online is the only way to make quality education accessible to remote towns and villages. I want to see this happening on ground coz execution is the main part. Hon'ble @narendramodi ji @BJP4India I offer my unconditional support to Govt for this. I dont want any profits in return. Quality Education should be free for Every kid of India. Jai Hind

WTF did I just read! 20-year-old Zoheb Khan, a BBA student in Bhopal, ended up watching a reel on Instagram that claimed that human testicles were selling for Rs. 1 to 1.5 cr in Gulf countries. Thanks to the algorithm, he ended up watching more reels making the same claim, which convinced him that the news was true. Zoheb then posed as a doctor and convinced a few others that there was opportunity to earn big. One of those was Amir; other names are not known as they are reported to be minors. This group then lured a 16 years old poor boy, who used to sell pens in streets, took him to an isolated place, and stabbed him to death. After killing the poor kid, the group made a video call to 'Dr Zoheb', who then directed these folks how to remove the testicles from the dead body and keep them safe in an ice box. Subsequently, Zoheb tried to find a buyer from Gulf for the testicles. He could not. That's when he realized that the reels were hoax. There was no such demand for testicles in the middle east. Body of the poor kid was recovered by Bhopal police in a decomposed state. His mother identified him due to a tattoo on the body. Police is now takign help of divers to find the testicles of the dead kid, which Zoheb and friends threw in a lake after finding no buyers. Zoheb and Amir:

Just came across a clip from a school somewhere in Kashmir. Independence Day celebrations held for or by the Waqf Board. I have a question. Isn’t waqf board a religious body entrusted with serving the Muslim Community. and ideally doing so while uplholding Islamic Values? Then there is something almost comical about this institution: an organisation built around a religious and communal purpose, yet sitting so comfortably through something you would expect a religious institution to at least question. It lends its name to celebrations that reduce our children to stage props and performers. Why is the default way of involving children — and particularly girls — in public celebrations to make them dance to irrelevant songs? Why aren’t our institutions giving them something to think about, create, learn, discuss, build or contribute? Especially in a place like Kashmir. Which has had a remarkable legacy of people who understood education as a means to enlighten minds, cultivate character and equip people with knowledge and spirituality. What about the intellectual and cultural legacy of wonderful scholars of the past. So if it’s an institution whose very existence is tied to religious purpose, you are taksed with deeper work of strengthening the communities spiritually morally, intellectually. And to be clear: the point is not the children. Children are often simply made to participate in whatever schools and institutions put before them. Perhaps that is the real tragedy here. The question is what an institution chooses to facilitate, endorse and place under its own banner.

Rahul Roushan (@rahulroushan) has an engagement rate of 0.491%, based on the median interactions across 22 original posts from the last 30 days against 529,321 followers. Replies, reposts and quote-posts of other people are excluded from that sample.
Is that a good engagement rate?
At 0.491%, Rahul Roushan sits above the 75th percentile of the 37,459 accounts in this comparison. Those comparison accounts are all large ones, because our scanning cadence is weighted towards big accounts, so this is a ranking among peers of similar scale rather than a ranking across X.
