Nota Pública Flávio Bolsonaro é um defensor do setor sucroenergético e dos biocombustíveis. Seu plano de governo propõe transformar o Brasil em potência de biocombustíveis, fortalecer e ampliar o RenovaBio para o exterior e aplicar a Lei do Combustível do Futuro, permitindo que o Brasil venda créditos de carbono ao mundo. Além disso, o plano apresenta formas eficientes e permanentes de incentivar o setor, notadamente a redução de impostos incidentes sobre o etanol hidratado, a simplificação tributária e o crédito para inovação em biogás e hidrogênio verde. A presença do etanol na mistura da gasolina deve ser tratada como política de Estado: valoriza a nossa produção agrícola, melhora o ar de nossas cidades , reduz a dependência de combustíveis importados e , em consequência, aumenta a segurança energética do país.
