Rajdeep Sardesai engagement report
@sardesairajdeep - 8.4M followers on X
Measured over 208 original posts from a 30-day window, last computed on September 1, 2026.
Engagement
A typical post picks up 43 interactions against 8.4M followers, an engagement rate of 0.001%. Measured over 208 original posts, its engagement rate beats 13% of 3,758 tracked accounts of a similar size. That is a reason to look at how the audience behaves - reply depth, saves, whether the followers are recent - rather than a conclusion about it on its own. Posts are seen about 46K times each, and 0.094% of those impressions turn into an interaction. That is about 0.541% of the follower count, which is the gap between an audience on paper and an audience in a timeline. Posting runs at about 14.6 posts a day over the last 30 days, with activity on roughly 63% of days. Most posts go out around 16:00 UTC, and Thursday is the busiest day of the week. Of the 208 posts sampled, 81% carry an image or video and 12% link out. The account's strongest tracked post pulled 24K interactions, about 559x its own typical post. Recurring topics include #newstoday, #exclusive, #indiatodaykarnatakaroundtable.

Compared with accounts its own size
Rajdeep Sardesai's engagement rate beats 13% of the tracked X accounts closest to it in follower count (3,758 accounts, accounts of similar size (decile 10 of 10)). A percentile is spread evenly by construction, so 50 really is the middle of that group and 90 really is its top tenth.
On engagement per impression rather than per follower it beats 8% of the same group. When those two numbers disagree, the gap is about how far its posts travel rather than how people react to them.
Where this sits in the catalog
At 0.001%, Rajdeep Sardesai sits below the 10th percentile of the 36,654 accounts in this comparison. That places it in the bottom 25% band, which runs below 0.012%.

NOTE: it is sometimes best to put out a full proper video before engaging in worst form of character assassination . Here is Indira Gandhi at 1983 NAM summit holding out her hand to Fidel Castro. The Cuban leader then takes her consent (through an interpreter) and hugs her briefly . He called her his ‘sister’. The entire exchange is done with quiet dignity. To score cheap political points why coarsen the narrative? (Thank you @_kajalbasu for sharing video on Facebook)

INTERESTING: Prime Minister’s Citizen Assistance and Relief in Emergency Situations (PM CARES) Fund, which was set up in March 2020 during COVID to deal with emergency/distress situations, has accumulated a corpus of Rs 8,452 crore by end of FY 2024-25, but just Rs 87 lakh was spent, as per audit reports released. Still NO information on source of funds. PM CARES has so far refused to divulge any details under RTI Act. 🙏

IMPORTANT: just received a call from someone claiming to be from SBI office Bandra Fraud division claiming someone has misused my SBI credit card (I don’t even have one).. then the person put me onto a number they said was Mumbai police who started asking for my bank details. I refused. At which point, the person began to threaten me with criminal action. I am told that this is how digital identity is sought to be obtained and fraud perpetrated. Needs urgent attention: God knows how many citizens esp senior citizens are being defrauded in this manner. Shocking. Truly. These are ‘real’ issues that govt must address instead of spending time in name calling fellow Indian citizens or debating how a patriotic song is to be sung and who said what in 1937!😡

IMPORTANT: 22 former international cricket captains have written to the Pak PM demanding that Imran Khan be given the medical treatment and supervision he needs as per Pak SC guidelines. The list includes 3 Indians: Gavaskar, Kapil Dev and Vengsarkar but not a single Pakistani! This is what FEAR does: makes some people lose their SPINE! 🙏

INTERESTING: Telangana CM @revanth_anumula denied permission to travel to the US on an official ‘Rising Telangana’ delegation trip. Telangana officials claim the MEA note says: “clearance from political angle is denied.” Yet Reddy is now in the UK exploring partnerships. So, why is a CM ‘allowed’ to travel to the UK but not the US? What exactly is the “political angle”? Or are opposition ruled states CMs on a different plane? 🙏

FACE OF URBAN INFRA: Gurugram reportedly has the highest net worth individuals per sq km (along with Mumbai’s Malabar Hill) but clearly NO proper drainage. Another day of rain, familiar water-logging. Citizens will rant on social media but little seems to change on ground. https://t.co/luIzh4vc94

- What is Rajdeep Sardesai's engagement rate on X?
- Rajdeep Sardesai (@sardesairajdeep) has an engagement rate of 0.001%, based on the median interactions across 208 original posts from the last 30 days against 8,436,063 followers. Replies, reposts and quote-posts of other people are excluded from that sample.
- Is that a good engagement rate?
- At 0.001%, Rajdeep Sardesai sits below the 10th percentile of the 36,654 accounts in this comparison. Those comparison accounts are all large ones, because our scanning cadence is weighted towards big accounts, so this is a ranking among peers of similar scale rather than a ranking across X.
- Does @sardesairajdeep have real engagement?
- Its engagement rate beats 13% of the tracked X accounts closest to it in follower count (3,758 accounts), which puts it in the bottom quarter for its size group. Ranking inside a size band matters because engagement rate falls as accounts grow, so a raw rate would mostly re-measure the follower count. It is a starting point for a look at follower quality, not a verdict on it.
- When does @sardesairajdeep post?
- Most posts go out around 16:00 UTC, and Thursday is its busiest day, at roughly 14.6 posts per day across the measured window.
