A typical post picks up 216 interactions against 455K followers, an engagement rate of 0.048%. Measured over 21 original posts, its engagement rate beats 55% of 3,758 tracked accounts of a similar size, which puts it in the middle of its size range rather than at either end. Posts are seen about 22K times each, and 0.961% of those impressions turn into an interaction. That is about 4.94% of the follower count, which is the gap between an audience on paper and an audience in a timeline. Posting runs at about 2.2 posts a day over the last 30 days, though only 37% of days saw any activity at all. Most posts go out around 12:00 UTC, and Tuesday is the busiest day of the week. Of the 21 posts sampled, 62% carry an image or video, 10% are part of a thread and 24% link out. The account's strongest tracked post pulled 51K interactions, about 235x its own typical post.

Compared with accounts its own size

Santiago's engagement rate beats 55% of the tracked X accounts closest to it in follower count (3,758 accounts, accounts of similar size (decile 7 of 10)). A percentile is spread evenly by construction, so 50 really is the middle of that group and 90 really is its top tenth.

On engagement per impression rather than per follower it beats 49% of the same group. When those two numbers disagree, the gap is about how far its posts travel rather than how people react to them.

Where this sits in the catalog

At 0.048%, Santiago sits above the 25th percentile of the 36,759 accounts in this comparison. That places it in the below the median band, which runs 0.012% to 0.08%.

Posting timing

This account posts most often around 12:00 UTC, and Tuesday is its busiest day of the week. The bars below are the catalog-wide pattern, with this account's own busiest slot marked. They do not show how this account performs at each hour: we keep one aggregate per account, not one per hour, so that measurement does not exist in our data.

It's been a couple of weeks since I migrated from Claude Code to Codex, and I don't miss a single thing. No, I don't care about Fable. No, I don't believe Opus is better than Sol. I'm doing everything I was doing before. It took me a day to get used to the change. Anthropic's products have zero stickiness. Anyone can migrate away from them in an hour.

I can tell the truth now: I once deployed a training pipeline for a company on AWS. It took around 20 hours to train the model. Months after that, they asked me to optimize the process. It took me 10 minutes to realize I'd been paying for an instance with 4 GPUs but using only one. The company spent months wasting money on 3 GPUs that they never used. All of it because of a stupid mistake I made. The lesson I took from this: you should pay attention to the operational metrics of whatever you deploy to production. If I had looked even once at my instance's GPU utilization, I would have realized it was never above 25%. I don't think I ever said anything back then.

It's been 60 days since I started using Linux full time and stopped using a Mac. I want to go back. Overall, I've been pleasantly surprised by the Framework 13 Pro + Omarchy. Really fun, and I'd pick this combination again in a heartbeat over anything else out there. Except for a Mac. The TLDR; of all my headaches: Linux is still rough and forgotten by my app providers. I have to spend too much time dealing with things that just work on a Mac. I'm on a 90-day experiment, so there are still 30 more days to go, but as of right now, I'm going back.

It's not that I'm faster at writing code or that the code I'm shipping is better. I don't care about any of those things. What really matters to me is that, for the first time, I've built about a dozen tools that I never, ever would have built before.

What is Santiago's engagement rate on X?
Santiago (@svpino) has an engagement rate of 0.048%, based on the median interactions across 21 original posts from the last 30 days against 455,203 followers. Replies, reposts and quote-posts of other people are excluded from that sample.
Is that a good engagement rate?
At 0.048%, Santiago sits above the 25th percentile of the 36,759 accounts in this comparison. Those comparison accounts are all large ones, because our scanning cadence is weighted towards big accounts, so this is a ranking among peers of similar scale rather than a ranking across X.
Does @svpino have real engagement?
Its engagement rate beats 55% of the tracked X accounts closest to it in follower count (3,758 accounts), which puts it in the middle of its size range group. Ranking inside a size band matters because engagement rate falls as accounts grow, so a raw rate would mostly re-measure the follower count. It is a starting point for a look at follower quality, not a verdict on it.
When does @svpino post?
Most posts go out around 12:00 UTC, and Tuesday is its busiest day, at roughly 2.23 posts per day across the measured window.
