Whitney Museum engagement report
@whitneymuseum - 965K followers on X
Measured over 3 original posts from a 30-day window, last computed on August 27, 2026.
Engagement
Early reading. We have captured 3 original posts for this account, below the 8 we require before treating a median as settled. The numbers above describe what we have seen so far, not a finished profile of the account.
A typical post picks up 71 interactions against 965K followers, an engagement rate of 0.007%. Posts are seen about 5.7K times each, and 1.25% of those impressions turn into an interaction. That is about 0.587% of the follower count, which is the gap between an audience on paper and an audience in a timeline. Posting runs at about 0.13 posts a day over the last 30 days, though only 10% of days saw any activity at all. Most posts go out around 15:00 UTC, and Monday is the busiest day of the week. Of the 3 posts sampled, 67% carry an image or video and 33% are part of a thread. The account's strongest tracked post pulled 263 interactions, about 3.7x its own typical post. Only 3 original posts have been captured so far, fewer than the 8 posts we want behind a median before treating it as settled. Read the figures above as an early measurement of this account, not as a finished profile of it.

Posting timing
This account posts most often around 15:00 UTC, and Monday is its busiest day of the week. The bars below are the catalog-wide pattern, with this account's own busiest slot marked. They do not show how this account performs at each hour: we keep one aggregate per account, not one per hour, so that measurement does not exist in our data.

👁️ The Lost World: The Art of Minnie Evans is officially open on our eighth floor ✨ Inspired by vivid dreams and visions, Minnie Evans made her first drawing in 1935 after the death of her beloved grandmother. During the subsequent decades, the artist created hundreds of radiant pencil and crayon drawings, oil paintings, and collages that combined imagery from her Afro-Caribbean heritage, mythology, religion, popular culture, decorative arts, and the natural environment of her native Wilmington, North Carolina. Organized by the @HighMuseumofArt, the retrospective is on view through January 10, 2027. — Minnie Evans, Untitled (Statuary, Stars, and Flora), 1965 Oil, gouache, and pencil on paper 12 × 9 in.(30.48 × 22.86 cm). At 11 feet wide by 5 feet tall, Ed Ruscha's Large Trademark with Eight Spotlights (1962) has the same aspect ratio as a movie screen 📽️ The work evokes both a movie screen and billboard, fitting for a painting of one of the best-known logos in Hollywood—Twentieth-Century Fox. Drawing from his background in commercial illustration and advertising, Ruscha uses bold, 3D letters and yellow klieg lights (the kind used when filming movies) to allude to the dominance of the movie industry Los Angeles. It's the last week to experience the fifth floor of #WhitneyBiennial 2026. The Biennial asks not only what is being made but also what it means to name something "American" at all. In its 2026 edition, contemporary artists and collectives take over the Museum and share their stories across film, performance, painting, sculpture, digital art, and more. See for yourself the exhibition everyone's talking about. Floor 5 will remain on view through August 23. Floor 1 will remain on view through September 7. Floor 6 will remain on view through October 12. — Installation views of Whitney Biennial 2026 (Whitney Museum of American Art, March 8–August 2026). Michelle Lopez, Pandemonium, 2025.
